We don't know what the plan was and I think it's too easy to see Wissa as Wilson's replacement. If we had brought in him and Sesko f.ex I think that Wissa would be the one starting early on atleast. But whatever the main plan was it went down the drain after Pedro/Ekitike/Sesko etc. chose another club. So we have to do the best with the cards we are given. I can see your point about being held to ransom if we sell Isak before we find his long term replacement. But I think this will be mitigated when we got enough time to negotiate with different clubs and players.

Wissa will do as Isak's replacement this season. Just need a backup to him aswell, but that should be doable. And I think that we have an understanding with Liverpool over what would be an acceptable fee.

Think you are right about that. Strikers with Isak's potential would most likely be too expensive this late in the window. Never know though, Isak himself was a late signing

Honestly the talk of him replacing Isak or Wilson is silly. He is one of the most proven PL strikers atm and will be perfectly fine as our main striker for now.

Yeah I dont think he will be worth £130m for us. Only my opinion ofcourse. Don't think he will be in the right mindset to perform and I'm afraid of how him coming back will affect the group. £90-100m in profit will help us enormously in regards to PSR.

The problem is that what is the best for the club is the same as what Isak wants.

I don't think Isak played bad or gave less efford on purpose, but I think he is a guy that needs to have his head in the right place to perform.
