Looked shit for a long time now. Sounds stupid, but I swear that their good run last season was mostly down to luck and VAR. They really didnt look that good.

Can see him starting 20+ games this season in all competitions. Also coming in as a substitute in most of the games.

We Norwegians have to pay £50-60 a month for premier league. Its getting ridicolous. -
Bring him home, dont care if he weighs 300pounds by now.
-
Rooney was unique as a young player. Gordon may just take a bit more time to mature. I think he can be truly great if/when he develops better end product.
-
Chichè, but Anthony Gordon is also going to feel like a new signing. Come along way this summer.
-
What an exciting signing! Think im gonna give this transfer window 10/10 after all. Forget about the little stuff. Four absolute fantastic signings. Sad to see ASM go, but he probably didnt fit in with the playstyle. Still think we got robbed though, but who cares
-
Lascelles will work this year, next signings will probably be a quality(and expensive) RCB and RW who are good enough to replace Schär and Almiron over time. Im fine with those positions not getting prioritized this window.

With them playing in the midweek, De Bruyne out and a non-settled defence we wont find a better time to play them. If we manage to get an early lead I think we should have a good chance keeping it with our strong counterattack. Just dont give Haaland an inch. -

14 losses in a row, that must be some kind of record? About time we mixed things up. -
The timing. Just used this guy as an example to my father that it doesnt matter how talented you are if you dont have the right personality, when he complained about Arteta letting some of the players go. Seems like our current management are very focused on this. Everyone here now appears to be friendly and respectable lads, but still got that fire within them. Especially the ones we brought in recently.

Not often you see Man City "only" being a 7/10 favorite to win at home. Still think the odds underestimate us though. -
Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Its gonna take a very long time time until that becomes a reality, if it ever does. Would be a bigger outrage than UEFA could manage if they let them in in the current state where they obviously arent complying with the FFP rules. -
They probably dont need the money this season. The problem with Chelsea and FFP lies more to the future. And everyone wants to be friendly with our owners atm. The Saudi League gives us major soft power in negotiations.
-
Not a perfect window by any means, but a solid 9/10 if we get Hall or any other quality LB. Had to have gotten rid of some of the deadwood and a better fee on ASM for it to be 10/10.
-
Dont anyone thinks about releasing him.
-
Doubt we would continue paying his wages if we sell him like.
-
Probably normal that highly talented L/RBs didnt start their youth career at that position.
-
Dont know what Man Utd is thinking about. This doesnt have a happy ending for either them or Greenwood. Doesnt matter how talented he is. Shit got too ugly and too public.
-
Have i gone that far? Just think its more likely than not that we advance to the knockout stage, not that it is in any way going to be easy.
-
Well one could also argue that Newcastle get much better experience playing high quality teams in the Premier League.
-
Think you are underestimating us.
-
Like who do you have in mind, to give an example? Almiron for 15m?
-
Napoli arent better than us. Pretty even id say. So does the odds. Same with Dortmund, Atletico, Leipzig and Porto. Yes its not going to be easy, but two teams are advancing so we only have to get ahead of one of them.
-
Would help them with FFP though, 100% profit. So dont think its out of the question that we could get him for a reasonable fee.
