What exactly are arguing you for/against here? No doubt Arsenal has more attacking threat than us depth wise, probably top of the league in that area. We have no business competing against them. Then again, we had no business competing for top 4 last season. Lets see what Eddie can do.

Really dont think its insane to think Spurs could get relegated without Kane. He scored almost half of their total goals and they were lucky to get as many points as they got. If they get off to a bad start and the atmosphere gets toxic who knows what can happen.

Seriously doubt that we spent £35m only for him to cover for a guy that played almost every minute last year. Howe must think he can play in other positions aswell.

We will have a lot stronger squad this season with Gordon, Anderson and Miley taking a step up and 3-4 signings coming in. Only losing ASM who didnt get many minutes last season. Unless we plan on going to the final I think we can handle the extra games from CL just fine. Cant be unlucky with injuries in the defence though.

Getting some quality cover on RB/RW isnt the worst thing.. All thats missing now for this transfer window is a world class LB.

Think this guy will get alot of goals for us considering how many chances we wasted last season. Happy to get him if Howe thinks its best to get rid of ASM. The funds from the sale will hopefully allow room for signing a more attacking left back aswell.
