    Anthony Gordon

Giving his mentality it seems strange we’re after him to be honest. Doesn’t seem to fit the ED criteria. Obviously any player who does sign we’ll always have faith that ED will do a job. Can only wait and see, but it seems at least over the next two or three days there’ll be one or two signings .
  2. Doesn’t add up at all. We’re light in midfield. We need to add to it instead of selling one of our best players in hope that someone could replace him with the same impact. I don’t think anything will happen until the last few days and that will be incomings. There will only be anyone leaving until we’ve brought in a replacement first if think.
  3. He could have struck it, put it around the keeper or chip him….waits until someone comes to pass it. He’s got to go like
  4. Two great chances . As much as a plank as Wood can be in front of goal. Maddison, providing he’s fit, would be a great signing to fulfil that need with Bruno dropping a little deeper. We deserve to be where we are and now’a the time to improve our squad if we can and get rid of dead wood…..full of daft puns when I’m pi**ed….!

    England

I feel Burn should have been in there ahead of bloody Dier like.
  6. Goes to show how big a player maxi is and weak our squad still is too. It’ll take time though
  7. Pope Trips. Burn Botman Targett Schar Bruno Joelinton Miggy Maxi Isak
  8. I don’t know if it’s just the officials way of saying VAR doesn’t work, whilst blatantly not doing their job properly so they can get back to how things were in carrying on not doing their job properly without it. Bottom line is It’s always down to the numpty making the decision and never the technology. It’s there to enhance your options of actually making the right decision. ….very bottom line is, the line underneath the bottom is that we should have took our chances and not rely on these f*ckwitts.
  9. If Wilson keeps getting injured I can see Pedro being brought in January. would love to see diaby here all though almiron has been outstanding for me. Would still like to see Maddison here . We definitely need better options on the bench

    Joe Willock

Bit like Ritchie minus the pointing and shouting. Runs loads, work-rate definitely stepped up, but just not good enough for what we’d like in there even as back-up. Putting things in perspective though it says a lot to how far we’ve came in such a small amount of time with the quality we’ve brought in along with some other players showing their true potential since Howe’s came in and worked his magic. Makes those players, which were useful at times, and maybe even considered some of our best options look out of place and not good enough for our squad now.
  11. We need to get rid of dead wood pardon the pun, and with one or two additions they’re getting mauled when they come here. You saw what ASM did to city. Can you imagine that with Isak being about this time along with a strengthened midfield. I could rant all day about the officials and other things that went on in this game, but they all know it’s just a matter of time. Get your digs in while you can. Klopp will have no toys, but his nashers to throw when they come here.
  12. Eeesak isak! He’s a mag Packed his bag from Sociedad He’s our lad our Swedish mag Alexander Isak…Eeesak isak! …and so on
  13. I’d be happy if Isak started to see if he could make an immediate impact, but I don’t think he will. I think Howe will keep him on the bench then not hesitate to bring him into the game in either half if needed. He’ll likely go with as many players he had starting against wolves. If ASM is out, then he’ll start Fraser. otherwise I’d like to see both Fraser and ASM playing off Isak.
  14. ? ….You’d have 5 at the back and as many useful attacking players on the bench as possible. I don’t rate Wood, but he’s handy to have in there to play-off on with attacking players around him. bottom line is, I don’t think anyone has any idea who will start given doubts we have over a couple of players starting along with playing against these as he might well go for 5 at the back…!
  15. Wood ASM Isak Almiron Anderson Joelinton Target Botman Schar Trippier Pope There ya gan
  16. …..It’s a surprise Or just hoy longstaff in there then…!
  17. Very true. What’s worse is watching it with your father-in-law who supports the feckers…!
  18. Isak asm Wood Almiron Joelinton Anderson target Trippier Burn Botman Pope or Isak asm Wood Almiron Joelinton Botman target Trippier Burn Schar Pope I’d honestly rather play botman there than longstaff, even Schar in that role. He’ll likely start longstaff though. Would be nice to see what anderson can do, but it’s a big game for him.
  19. We’ve definitely learned from the mistakes man-city made when they were taken over, which in turn leads to potentially European football and possibly silverware happening a lot soon than what they experienced. All credit to everyone involved at the club. ….Wish I had a bloody season ticket…
  20. Would love to see Lewis step-up his game as it looked as though he had just before he got injured. Lascelles, will be in there for now, but I don’t think he’s good enough in the long run. I’d actually prefer to see Fernandez there and I know he’s had injury problems, but I’m not sure if Howe rates him as good. Hopefully Anderson does come on well being a local lad, as the two Longstaff brothers have been disappointing, showing what they can do on their day, but then just not being consistent or good enough now. Really pleased with Almiron, but with Shelvey out injured and Bruno, Howe could bring someone else in there as we’ve got both Fraser and Murphy who can cover the flanks. I don’t think Murphy will be here in the long-run, but provides a bit of cover like Lascelles does at the back. if Dubravka does go we’ll definitely need someone else in of similar quality as back-up for Pope.
  21. You forget to remind yourself just how thin and shite the squad was just a few months back. Looks like possibly one or two still to come, fingers crossed. Players below here for the long run and we know all do a job. Not bad going, but as mentioned, injuries will happen. Never thought we’d be at a stage where we’re not too far off strengthening our squad let along our starting 11. Wilson Isak Saint-maximum Fraser Anderson Joelinton Guimaraes Shelvey Almiron Target Lewis Botman Burn Schar Trippier Krafth Pope Dubvraka
  22. Was it the same shithouse, Hemmings, who made the tackle on Darlow?
  23. Darlow’s not shite he’s not at Dubravka’s level and certainly not Pope’s, but he can do a job in there. We’ll likely get a replacement for Dubravka at some point.
  24. Definitely one of his best displays and that final ball brilliant ! Had walker sleeping in his back pocket.

    João Pedro

    But…but…that final through ball though!
