Its unreal to me that you have not learned to not write off any (especially young) players under this management, they have proven most people on this forum wrong over and over again. Most likely youre just going to end up looking silly here. Osula is a weird pick to focus your frustrations on after today.

The hindsight stuff after defeats like these is incredible
-
They beat us with brute force today, far more athletic ability and wining most of the duels. Beat us at our own game basically. It happens, our slow back line was going to struggle here and this run was always gonna end somewhere however the manner of defeat is a bit disappointing for me. Onto the next.

Outplayed so far today, they have been far better. Thought they might turn up a bit off it after the CL defeat but seems it’s actually done the opposite for them.

Actually putting the new RW talk to bed at the minute, fair play to him

He is an insane finish player, and I still think he would be best in a more transitional side however it’s great to see his overall game growing now. I don’t think he will ever possess Gordon’s overall output in terms of work rate and defensive work in general, but at the same time Gordon won’t ever be able to finish as well as this guy can. Proving he was worth all of that £40m now.

We should be winning this game in midfield again just like last time

This thread has been absolutely bonkers

Bruno Fernandes would be our best midfielder and would fit seamlessly into our side, to suggest anything else just isn’t accurate I’m afraid. Hes carried that team for at least 3-4 seasons now.

An early goal would be huge, while they arnt great they could be frustrating for us to break down. They have ground out draws against good sides this season.

Onana is one of the least intelligent goalkeepers that I’ve ever seen at this level
-
When I say it worked, I meant specifically in terms of growing the PSG ‘brand’. On the pitch it clearly didn’t (in CL terms anyway, they have been as dominant as you’d expect domestically), but I also don’t think that on the field success was necessarily their primary goal at the time.
-
To be fair, the strategy has only recently changed. They spent years spending huge amounts on big names in an attempt to grow the PSG brand, it worked. They could be a serious problem for the rest of Europe now they have seemingly adjusted their approach.

PSG are immense, probably the most complete side left in the competition. Back down to earth for Villa.

One of the best hit free kicks I’ve ever seen tbh

Not this season, they are there for the taking
-
Total missed opportunity otherwise

This guy has a premier league medal man

Anyone else hearing Albrighton on comms? I wanna pull my ears off

Come on Eddie, give Osula a whole half it’ll be entertaining at the least

I was at soton away (in the home end) in jan, and they were 10x better than this

Think we might see another manager off here
