he went through a couple game patch early in last season where he seemed to be hanging on too long and slow decision making, and quickly changed it around. unsure if it’s fitness / sharpness at times, but regardless he’s fucking class. when he’s on his game - absolutely untouchable

we have some tough home games coming, man city, brighton, arsenal and liverpool all by beginning of december. im expecting more like today, hard games but have a proper go, backs to the wall at times but if he has us on form we can take points. come on eddie, we have faith lad.

we are winning and picking up points and playing pretty shit compared to what we know this team is capable of. let’s get the form on and crack some teams right open

we were down to 10 men last week and not many in the team performed yesterday. let’s give him a break, he’s still class

yeah but with tonali, willock, joelinton, bruno available you’d think he would be benched a fair bit now

you’d think he will end up as back up with tonali and willock available. solid squad player though, regardless of shortcomings

we’ve got some tough home games between now and xmas. Need to make sure we are better than this away from home

if he can stay fit he will be a key player this season. personally think he’s excellent and a massive miss for us since 22-23 season
