I think quite a few of the players we're looking at are for that exact scenario. Not that I think we'll actively push Bruno out the door but we need to be able to act quickly should a club he's keen to join decide to trigger the clause.

I don't think that should be a huge surprise to anybody really. In theory it has the (main) benefit of the current site, namely being very central, but also has the "shiny new toy" effect.

It's also worth noting that, by all accounts, Staveley approached PIF rather than the other way round. I don't think it's been confirmed either way but the timeline suggests that she wanted to buy the club, couldn't do it, then decided to seek out some wealthy backers. That's different to PIF looking for a vanity project and using Staveley as a conduit to achieve it.

There was some engineering company which announced something on their LinkedIn page about getting a contract to do work on the existing training ground.

He can be Elliott Anderson's backup

The Chronice could publish the most well-written, thoroughly researched piece about a complete regeneration of St James Park but nobody would be able to read the fucking thing because of all the pop-ups and adverts.

Their little battle to be "the man" basically turned last season round after the cup final threatened to derail it.

The main issue I have with that is the pizza they've used. Looks stale. Otherwise standard "banter". 4/10

Just because we haven't signed any of those deals doesn't mean we aren't looking at it. Perhaps we have an amount in mind, maybe we're just being patient trying to find the right partner at the right price?

Would suggest (I think) that they are no longer going to be involved in the day-to-day running of the club? Edit - although it isn't the same company as this one which releases the annual accounts and so on

Domestically our only hope is an independent regulator who implements some version of FFP that still allows us to invest enough to catch up. No idea how that'll work with the UEFA rules.

Eating into Leazes Park is the primary issue I'd say

If Option C is viable (big "if" in my opinion) that would be amazing.
-
The main issue is around stadium funding/loans isn't it? Which doesn't directly impact the FFP figures, aside from interest payments. Even if they'd kept their head above water FFP-wise they'd still be in bother because they don't seem to have anyone willing or able to cover that £160m loan.

Even an old, injury prone Callum Wilson will score more PL goals than Adam Armstrong next season. I reckon he'd score more than anyone Leicester can currently call upon, including Vardy. I know nothing about Ipswich's squad but I doubt they've got a 10 goal PL striker. Short-term thinking, if my goal was not getting relegated, if my job depended on it, spending £10m on Callun Wilson is a risk I'd absolutely consider taking.

All jokes aside, I'm in the same boat. I wouldn't want any football club to go out of business and what's happening at Everton makes a complete mockery of "profitability & sustainability", "financial fair play" and the fabled "Owners and Directors test "

We haven't got much in the way of sellable assets aside from players we really don't want to lose (Bruno, Isak) so by default any players that are not at that level, but also not so shit we'll have to give them away (Hayden et al) we'll be actively trying to move on I think. Wilson, Almiron, Targett all spring to mind. Maybe Murphy but I can't see us selling him and Miggy.

NUFC kits & merchandise - 2025/26 home kit leaked pg. 825

Couple of things - they aren't really revealing anything concrete are they? As in they're just mock-ups based on stuff that has been reported? Also, they have the hooped shirt with blue shorts, surely they'd go with the off-white from the original? -
How do signing fees work with PSR? I know if we signed Kelly for £10m, it'd be spread over the length of his contract but would that be the same as offering him a £10m signing fee?

I quite like a fairly straightforward design tbf. And as someone who is colourblind and struggles with black/red the white patch is something I'm very much in favour of. -
For me, they were both probably the wrong call on-field but there maybe wasn't enough to overturn the decision on replay. Of course, one got overturned and one didn't which is again this issue with "clear and obvious error"
