  1. Thanks for that. I didn’t think Alex and Charlotte would respond well to any constructive criticism. FYI Michael Martin looks a bit like Jim Branning from Eastenders

from Ponteland.. there’s prob hundreds living on middle drive alone
  3. Aye Emile seems a good lad. But Alex, Adam, and Charlotte seem smug, conceited and fairly loathsome. They may be canny but they’re on screen personas reek of arrogance.

It is for the life of me cannot remember I the name
  5. Most of the TF is insufferably new fan arrogant shite imho but appreciate I’m not the target audience. Adam P is in short bursts watchable- as he’s amazed a travelodge has a hairdryer and other revelations that aren’t. I feel a bit guilty that his views are based on people laughing at him, having said that if he’s making a living from it fair play to the lad.
  6. Perhaps taking it a bit far but hey ho. Also I love him but Pope was time wasting on 90 mins hahaha. but we’ve been too soft in the past and you need to be a bit ruthless to win stuff which if we I’ll not be complaining

Hopefully see him back in the blackies on gossy high street. He was a regular in there a couple of years ago.
  8. Thanks mate I had assumed so. I know its not top priority but sorting there google listing and answerphone message isn't that challenging.
  9. Does anyone know if the club shop will be open up until kick off tomorrow? I am taking the bairn and he wants to spend some of his xmas money. I would assume it is but google says only till 6pm, however it says until 6pm tonight but when I have called them it says it is currently closed!!!!! Cheers
  10. Adam P speaks a little bit like the original Pedro. Always feel a bit guilty laughing at him, I’m not sure the kid doesn’t have sone learning difficulties tbh
  11. I thought they were class to ge fair. Not sure what Charlotte’s on about we took 6 times that to Saudi for a friendly. Doubt she’d approve if their socialist politics either
  12. you make a great point but u expect that the trust (TF) leadership don’t give a fk because they’re not personally affected / inconvenienced.
  13. It didn’t matter to a lot of them in key positions who are career opportunists or would appear to be imho
  14. sorry mate thought you were having a dig (Stella, red wine and tonight’s disappointment to blame)!! I 100% agree with you.
  15. I am. I received an email from the trust on 25th November advising me of the election process but not advising if any declared candidates (I suppose you could predict certain members would be applying for re-election but surely this should have been set out in [pun intended] black and white). I then received an email yesterday, 9th December, advising of the result. I find the lack of transparency more worrying mate but each to their own.
  16. I feel like there’s something lacking in the process here. The first time I gave read any of the applicant statements was after they’d been shooed in. Now if they were public ally available before then I apologise. But in a democratic process the electorate need to know what they’re voting for. In this case that doesn’t seem to be the case. I think their process, accountability and mandate as fan reps could be improved if statements were published then there was further time for challengers with new ideas / vision to enter the ballot.
  17. but surely it would make sense that those purporting to represent the fans would be eligible for tickets anyway through their loyalty / previous attendance? Or you have people representing the fans who are not really qualified to do so. Quite toryesque really.
  18. why if I may ask? It’s a legitimate leisure pursuit and as the US have proved in the past prohibiting stuff that has a public demand rarely minimises the societal harm. Far better to regulate imho. fwiw I’ll declare I have skin in the game as I work in the online gambling industry.
  19. until recently you’d be breaking the law in most states for betting online as a fan tbf. Sheldon Alderson is a 24 carat wanker. Thankfully the states free market principles are gradually extending to online gambling.
  20. they (FA rules) are not allowed to bet on football. I work within this industry and we’ve had some names who liked the horses snd casino who were key accounts / VIPs,

You would get accused of whataboutery but when they’re banging on about human rights we live in a country that has an official policy to deport asylum seekers to a third country and that country being Rwanda, still suffering from post genocidal ethnic tension. Their outrage is very selective. A significant minority of their fan base openly show vocal opposition to inclusion / support of BAME people. Their targets are obvious and telling.
