Looks like a nice little come back that! Get in ladies! In the Adam P highlights I just watched, I spotted this though. Wtf is that?

Yep, and on top of that their players will have a mentality so instilled in them by this point that I doubt they ever go out expecting anything other than a win. That's fucking difficult to compete with! -

They basically have an XI of established top internationals, were so far off that. -

Yeh we do seem to go with that approach, the point I was making is just that it doesn't seem the right position to focus the amount of funds it would take right now, which others don't seem to have realised. I'm not saying it's not what the club would do, I'm saying I wouldn't. Far more important areas to invest in currently, no question for me.

Would love it, but seems like the wrong area to be spending what it would cost to get him.

Yep same for me. Can't remember if there's been any concrete links or bids we put in for any though? Really feels like it's the next spot that would be a game changer for us. Interested in the type we would go for, I assume it would be someone more creative as opposed to a goal scorer like Barnes. Can't decide an order after that, and could even argue for a CB and CM. Providing it's not another window of being falsely cash strapped, I can't wait for this one!

If RW, ST and LB are the spots we need to buy for, what's the order of priority? Also feel sorry for whoever has to come in and 'compete' with Isak.

Think I might grab tickets for me and the little man! Handily the Mrs parents live 40 mins away from Kenilworth Road.

Caught me off guard there, I was expecting to get Real Madrid. -

Who's in the other semi final?

As if Manchester red fans would just be happy to let one of their top guys (if they have any) just easily move to Liverpool for example. I'm not the sharpest knife, but fuck me the hardcore online based abroad fanbase of them lot are thick as could be. We never really used to have them all posting on anything related to us, I can't handle reading it all anymore bloody lunatics. I hope we negotiate the price down, to something that's still pretty ridiculous, and that he remains on leave until next season begins. Nothing else would be fair really, there's no way we don't deserve decent compensation, and there's absolutely NO FUCKING WAY he should be starting a job for them before that transfer window slams shut. Then we can just move on and find someone that loves being part of it. Can't help but love the idea of the Brentford guy, because you just know he would put absolutely everything into it, and also seems to have done a good job so far. p.s. Fuck Dan Ashworth.

Brighton did the exact same thing were doing. If we had bought a player from Brighton who then increased in value, should we bend the knee and give you a bargain? Nope
-
Reading the comments on that makes me feel so sorry for the genuine Manchester fans.

Is the blonde one the reason you attend?

Agree. It's a bit of a miracle we are where we are, because we shouldn't be or wouldn't be under most managers imo. So every season he's performed a miracle. The minute we reached the point the amount of injuries were just laughable, I gave the whole squad and Howe a pass for the season. Were within touching distance of the likely goal for the season, so just stfu.

From the Brentford website. Growing up, Phil was a Newcastle United fan, since he was born there and his family are life long fans. His favourite player is Les Ferdinand (with apologies about the QPR connection)!

How does the league work that the lasses play in? If we win it, do we have to play the winners of the southern division to gain promotion?
