Yes I noticed when they were breaking our midfield 3 were legging it back trying to catch up. A sitting midfielder would give us more protection.

I’d go straight for the one leg takedown.

He was much better for us further up the pitch when he first came. He was scoring and creating goals but we had Shelvey then who sat in front of the back 4 a bit like a quarter back. Maybe we should have signed a top more defensive midfielder to replace Shelvey and kept Bruno where he was.

Yeah with Liverpool down to 10 men I would have played the 2 strikers.

Maybe against the top sides he’s trying to control possession and be patient and against the weaker sides be more free flowing and go for the jugular.

My son served Anthony Gordon in Curry’s today. He was getting a wall bracket for a 60” tv, a new tv remote and a purifier which they didn’t have in stock. He asked him if he was nervous for Sunday and he said no they are going to beat Liverpool. He also asked about the stick the players are getting on social media. Gordon said he’s not on any social media but Sandro and bruno seem to be getting the stick.
