My feeling is this is a fuck you to Castore. If the deal is as bad as what people say and we gain little from the shirt sales this is a very efficient way to piss them off. Before Christmas kill a decent amount of sales by 1 announcing it and 2 opening a way to register interest. The way they have handled this is night and day to the sponsors. Something has gone on behind the scenes for sure. I don't believe this but maybe they found out that Ashley does have his fingers in the pot. More likely the termination of the deal was not smooth.

Can neither Burn or Bosman play as the right sided centre back? I never recall this being such an issue in the past in terms of a centre back playing right or left. If they could then we'd have the cover and could go for the left back.

This is the sort of thread that just us look daft. Unless you watch Spurs as much as us it's really hard to call and we have affection for our players so bias kicks in. What I would say is I don't think there is anyone I would be looking to pay 80-100 million for, marginally improving our first team and giving Spurs that amount of money. There are players in Arsenals and Man City's team I would for sure.

I’m with ee and generally it is excellent but is terrible for any events exactly for this reason. For the f1 I got a smarty sim(uses the orange network). Three seems to do better. Maybe as there are less people on the network. I could stream the cricket whilst in a grandstand.

I really didnt expect today. I thought they had worked us out after the away game. Our press simply did not work and they played through us. Today we were way better and more pragmatic as to when to us it. We worked out their high line and destroyed them. The pre season game really helped us I think as we started exploiting it then too. I think Villa will still do well but their injuries and us demonstrating how to take them apart will may make things a bit harder. It will be interesting to see how good Emery is and whether he can tweak things if other teams do exploit if like we did.

He can do everything. That chip finish was world class. All we need to do is solve the issue where he can disappear for a while. Most of it is service but when he’s in that mode he does not hold the ball up well. If one current player is here in 10 years and is a geordie legend I hope its him.
