Last night was really back to the bad old days. Gordon injured in 2nd minute. Our attaching threat reduced significantly. Obvious red. Kraft taken out at the end of the half. No free kick even. Gash on his shin as the player left his studs in. This one was actually worse imo. The player meant it. With VAR we win that match.

It was a horrible bounce for Trippier. It put him in no mans land between flicking on and back. Still a horrible mistake. He will be devastated tonight. I feel for him -

Karma is a bitch. Try to injure our players. One of their players had to go off and another is hobbling round. I hope the ref watches the replays of the fouls at half time. -

Interesting. I presumed it was the player. Either way I think you force the play to stop I think the "punishment" should be equal to when a physio comes on. Whether the physio rule is right or wrong is an another debate.

Good forward thinking to have “L Miley” on his shirt. -
I loved him letting the ball roll past him and the delayed touch to beat the man for the first goal. The cross for the second near defied physics. I’ve never seen a player play for us so good with people around him. He must have about 50% better peripheral vision than most players! Then he uses his body, angles of run, touches so well to shield the ball. He makes it look so easy.

Twice yesterday an uninjured player stayed down. Either the ref stopped play or we kicked it out. The players got up and didn’t need treatment and carried on. if a player has to stay off the pitch for 45 seconds when they actually need treatment. A player who stays down to force the game to be stopped should ? % still have to go off the pitch the 45 seconds whether they then say they need treatment or not.

It was good to see the ref seeing multiple angles of the incident rather than just 1 cherry picked one. Hopefully that is a new things and will continue.

There is one adult one left now. Added to basket and checked trains and I can't do it So frustrating. If someone wants to try to grab it after I remove it from basket let me know in next 5 mins! -

Also the squad in the R. If I paid part of the 15k for that I'm be fuming. I'd be writing letters, starting petitions and everything. -

6k away fans does reduce the home advantage a tad. At either ground if the away team is winning the atmosphere will feel like being at home. -

Stuff like this and Villa doing flags to slag the opposition rather than support the team is so small time. also - That cant be real right? The A and G are missing the border. Looks shite. -

Given their melt down today if anyone has the social media clout to start a rumour that WorFlags have been given permission my Sunderland to do a display anther place please do. I think it would break them. -

Same for Sevilla and they got 2 points. So we did better. Get less money. Mental.
-
Such fine margins. End of the day the keepers were the difference. Theirs made would class save. I don’t recall ours making a save.

Get Shearer in to teach him how to kick a ball. He smashed the goal with everything he had and it had less power than a shearer side footer. If he ever learns how to connect his foot with a ball he will be unstoppable.

feels like there is a bit of a power shift...
