Tbf it was quite good in the Gallowgate, with chants also starting in the lower Milburn stand.

You can get a train to the highlands, even as far as Skye (Mallaig then ferry) via Glasgow if you want to have Edinburgh as your base. Its a beautiful journey through Glencoe and crosses Glenfinnan viaduct (Harry Potter).

Seconded. Have family from the Isle of Skye. It's stunning - drive through Glencoe and take the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale.
