As a team we look knackered, to a man, Bruno and Joelinton look shattered, tripps making mistakes due to tiredness. Second half I don't see why we wouldn't bring on kraft, longstaff and Wilson.

I used to stand in the west stand paddock as a kid, used to stand low down so so I was close to the action, and so my view wasn't blocked by adults or the older kids. As you say the hump on the pitch was pronounced, players only visible above the knee. Happy days though, watching football in that type of stadium/environment is long gone.

Ten hag must be toast after this.

Ok we've lost a game, yes we've got injuries and look knackered, aye maybe howe could have rotated more earlier in the season (bloke is one of the best managers we've ever had tbough). However some of the doom and gloom man... you'd think it had just been on the news that the earth would be struck by a meteorite the size of Australia next week. Players will come back from injury, quarter final of league Cup, chance of getting last 16 of CL, fa cup to come, doing OK in league all things considered. We've just beat arsenal Chelsea manure in the last few weeks BTW. Onwards and upwards HWTL.

Made a couple of mistakes due to tiredness, shit happens, nobody will be as gutted as him. He's experienced enough to put it behind him and move on. Maybe he could do with a rest for a game, but him and Eddie will decide that. Still a top player, a couple of fuck ups doesn't change that.

Other than it actually not being SJP it is perfect for me - the city centre pre-match vibe would feel exactly the same, we get more capacity, it could be built whilst still using SJP, then SJP becomes park land to compensate for lost park land in Leazes park. Is literally the next best option to staying at SJP, and realistically expanding SJP is extremely difficult.

Yeah the way both The Waddler and john Robertson sort of just drifted by defenders - Gordon has that but he has pace aswell. When Gordon gets the ball I expect something to happen - like I expected waddle to do something when he got the ball back in the day.

Joelinton definitely gets white line fever, steps on that pitch and transforms himself into a beast. Mental performance yesterday, one of the worst misses I've ever seen live, goal, yellow card, his energy and effort were immense. Whatever he does its just impossible not to love the guy. He gives 100% effort, 100% of the time.
-
When he went down in a heap in the 1st half I was bricking it. Thankfully he was ok and put in a hell of a performance. Could well end up being a legend at the club if he is here for 5 years or more and performs like he did yesterday.
-
The way sky are reporting it is very much focused on us, although they did mention that 11 clubs have multi-club owners.

Who is saying Howe is under pressure - the media? 3 games ago we beat arsenal having previously thrashed manure in the Cup. Sure howe isn't above criticism, but to suggest his job might be under threat is nuts in my opinion. Just hope fans stick with him and the team at the present time, I'm sure they will as to do anything else would be frankly ridiculous.
-
He looked down and a bit pensive in his postmatch interviews, he will be pissed off at yesterday's performance and result. Yesterday's performance was probably the worst ever under howe, but that's football. Mitigating circumstances in abundance. He's 100% the man for the job. HWTL.

The guy in the collar and tie and the cream overcoat

Aye the ball bag shuffles off looking embarrassed... as well he should...

This has boiled my piss, I mean ffs, some cunt giving it the big I am, cretin. Just hope trippier realises the prick isn't an overall representation of our fans, although it has to be said there are a few of this cunt's type knocking about.

We had limited choices in terms of selection, not sure what else Eddie could have done in terms of starting 11 bar livramento, players looked knackered, Bournemouth pressed us to death which was spot on tactically bearing in mind our fatigue, missing players, etc.
-
Exactly this, judge each incident on its merit, all 3 are independent events.
-
Agree, however if it is say Nottingham that are doing the whining - it's less of a story.
-
What really boils my piss with yesterday, and the goal VAR debate, is that if it was a goal against say Nottingham forest the media wouldn't give a flying fuck.

Still buzzing off yesterday, was a proper battle, lots of tackles flying in, lots of aggression, coming away with a 1 0 in a game like that is fantastic. Good teams find a way, and we found a way. Ref was a clown. As for var, the goal was given on the field of play, so they need conclusive evidence to overturn the goal , there was none, goal stands.

Aye its a shame for the lad and for the team. Comes across as a decent lad.
