Yeah, they sat back and let us have the ball for the majority of the second half, yet we didn’t create any meaningful chances for either Woltemade or Wissa. He went with Isak and Wilson in games, so why not go with Woltemade and Wissa when we were dominating? So frustrating.

I think he’s done, completely out of ideas against a poor Man Utd team that we dominated possession. We should be winning the next 4 league games but I’m not confident about it.

Semenyo has shown himself to be one of the best wide players in the league over the last 2 years, the natural progression for him is to step up to a team that is challenging for trophies. I remember his time at Bristol City and he had some great attributes but his control was terrible, Iraola has clearly worked on that part of his game with him and you can see the player he has developed in to become of that.

Wolves create hardly any chances to be fair to him, this was from the end of November and they have managed an average XP of 0.7 since. Cunha and Ait Nouri were such big players for them, I’m not sure who their creative outlet is now.

Oliver Glasner or Andoni Iraola would be my guess. I think Iraola might end up at Liverpool if they move Slot on.

He still has the rest of the season from me but I am not convinced he can turn it around, I also wouldn’t blame the board if they moved him on before the January window opens. I knew as soon as he brought Willock on that we wouldn’t see Woltemade tucked in behind Wissa, instead we went with the same set up hoping it would come good.

I’m happy to see Ekitike do well and I want him to make it impossible for Slot to leave him out, so Isak can never get a good run of games.

The issue I have with it is that the formation was solid up until that point and was limiting Spurs’ opportunities, but the change then had that formation go out of the window. I could understand it more of Woltemade came off, and we were going to use Elanga or Gordon as a potential target for the counter attack, but dropping from 3 midfielders to 2 didn’t make any sense, especially when that midfielder was playing deep.
