  1. Not sure if it has already been said, but is it true that any team that qualified for Europe could only have 5 years of amortization fee, while teams outside of the European competitions like Chelsea can still do more?
  2. Honestly when I translate most of the Milan fans comments on Tonalis insta most of them are sad/emotional rather than angry, and many of them still seem to support him. That's a lot of contrast from certain british clubs, where if their star player left to a richer club they would be fuming and hating on him forever. I'm a bit surprised because I expected him to get a lot of stick from Milan fans for a good while.
  3. Well, I've seen videos from older games recently, and I can tell you that some of those mistakes were extremely obvious and also game deciding. Obvious mistakes happened nearly every game back then.

VAR decision: apology after the game
  5. Steele was doubtful to start considering their new GK I believe. Leno is facing some tought fixtures next. In my opinion Flekken was the best option considering fixtures, if you don't include Sanchez (not sure if it was possible to tell that Kepa wouldn't be there in time). Fulham is not the same without Palinha, and then you have the Mitro situation aswell. I actually thought that Everton would beat them at home.
  6. Flekken also has great fixtures. Sanchez too, although I guess there were some uncertainty about the Kepa situation before the deadline?
  7. Or saved a penalty He wiped him out because he wanted to save a penalty for his fantasy points.
  8. He's getting 1 bonus. You can see it live. Bissaka at 4.5 getting 12 points, not bad.
  9. They were saying that all the "big clubs" would transform into peak Real Madrid this year, and we would go back to our old self and drop like a rock 1 game in I know, but every season there's this assumption that any underperforming team will get their act together..
  10. Chelsea are still signing everyone on 8 year contracts.. It's almost as if they are just signing anyone to make sure other clubs don't get them at this point. Klopp should be asking for an investigation, but he's too busy trying to get Newcastle for selling ASM for 30 mill
  11. Is Targett really at £100.000 per week?
  12. It seems like Howe likes to play a more defensive minded left back, given that Trippier is attacking from the other side. Cucurella would fit that profile. But as others pointed out I can't really see it with those wages. It's funny if it's true that Chelsea didn't want to sell to us because they saw us as a "top 4 rival" in january, and then they finished 12th.
  13. I don't get how Chelsea can keep spending with that sick wage bill of theirs.. Makes no sense.
  14. Rondon did well that 1 season he had with us.
  15. Chris Wood or Shefki Kuqi
  16. Demba Ba in 2011 had a similar impact, but I think Cisse might win by a small margin. And yes, the quality of Cisses goals were definetly better for all it matters.
  17. I really thought that was his debut! My bad.
  18. Yeah, but not sure if it was as good as Tonalis debut.
  19. When was the last time a Newcastle player had a debut as good as this one? Moussa Sissoko?

    Alexander Isak

Huh? We're comparing g/a per 90 from last season. Isak stopped scoring after being moved out wide. Martial didn't get moved out wide. Which is a factor.

    Alexander Isak

Did they play Martial on the wing? Isak really stopped producing after being moved to the wing..
  22. I said it in reference to an earlier discussion
  23. One of the things I love about this team is how ruthless we are when going 2-0 or 3-1 up before 60. We nearly allways just hammer them from that point instead of slowing down and potensially giving them a window to come back. There has been a lot of 5-1 and 4-1 results where it could've been even more if we were effective. We're so good on the counter whenever teams try to come back at us, and when they start giving up we take advantage of it.
  24. For me I have a bit of bias in judging them because their story is a little similar to ours in how everything changed after going from Gerrard to Emery. They also spend a bit of cash in the windows.
