I truly believe that Hall can take Burns spot already this season. Rotation will be a thing, and they are probably quite different tactically. But overall I really believe that Hall is already a better left back than Burn. Don't mean to hate on Burn, Hall just looks like the real deal.

Maybe if the Saudi teams get to play in the Champions League they will abolish it. Imagine how much we would spent if they would abolish it, that would be crazy.. Not sure if Palace can afford to lose Eze at the moment, they would have to spent that money very well and also spend it in this window.

I'm starting to think that Todd Boehlys mission is to strangle Chelsea financially. The goal is to have a crappy team while not being able to buy players for years or get rid of existing players. On a more serious note, Boehly keep selling good players only to sign new unproven ones.. He must have a transfer addiction.

Well, he's just short tempered (which we should have noticed by now), and probably couldn't help himself from saying something in the moment. Been there. Also we need to remember that his friends, Joelinton, Almiron and Burn were also in the picture, which probably upset him even more. It's not just about him reacting to criticism about himself.

Still. "These are the players that the fans are blaming right now" *shows picture*.. It's a small amount of people being way too negative (blame is a strange word, as if we're in some kind of crisis), he makes it seem like several people in our fanbase are looking for someone to "blame". The wording makes it seem like we've had a bad run of form, when we have been one of the very best teams the first 2 games.

At the start of the window people were saying "we need a bunch of elite players", and we ended up signing two youngsters + Barnes and Tonali while having to sell ASM to fund Barnes. Which I think is a great window even, but I don't think that's what those people meant by "elite" players (maybe except Tonali). Some have this expectation that we are the new Man City, and forget that what they see as "elite" players costs more than £40 mill these days.. Unless you're lucky.
-
Yes I was thinking that was what he meant probably.
-
I don't know why he says "short term memory you all have".. Most people in the replies are supporting the players and the team, saying that too much negativity is far from justified. "You all" is a bit over the top, but maybe he didn't mean it like that. Edit: The NUFC360 tweet was just terrible, "is it too early to start focusing blame" as if we've gone through a bad run of form.

He deleted it already

I reacted to that post once I saw it, putting specific players into the picture and such.. If it was a random account with barely any followers then sure, but this account has 143k followers..

So he requested a move due to playing time but he's not prepared to take a pay cut, and would rather not play at all? I wonder if any club even tried to offer him less wages.
-
Maybe they will forget to announce him, and all of a sudden he pops up against Liverpool. Would be mint.

The Tomiyasu situation, is that even a free kick? I don't get what he did wrong. He didn't push him?
-
It's okay, if Joelinton has another stinker in the next game then he will be the new target.
-
If that was the case, and also that he didn't do any of what the pictures were showing, this case should've been solved a long time ago. Unless she was working really hard to screw him over.
-
Ake was available, wasn't he? Guardiola chose to bench him because he had better options for that game.. Man City has that luxury.

To some extent, but goal difference can also be ruined but 2-3 really bad games. They lost 7-0 to Liverpool and 4-0 to Brentford right at the start of the season. There was a 6-3 loss to Man City in there aswell. They kind of gave up in some games. Our goal difference would still be superior without those games though, we were ruthless in terms of killing games.

Another day of oppoising fans dreaming of us turning against Eddie Howe

Yeah, he got treatment on the field and then they subbed him straight away. Might be nothing, but I'm going to be patient with bringing him in until I know more.
-
Honestly all his best games from last season came from the left wing. When he was moved to midfield due to Longstaffs injury we were struggling a little. Not just because of him ofcourse, but I remember he had a couple of not so good games in midfield.
-
Any news about the Diaz injury? Klopp didn't even talk about it.
