Absolutely, I think it's all down to the club. If they don't accept a bid, he won't be unhappy. If they accept a crazy bid, then he goes. I think the asking price will be too high for the interested clubs.

If just about any other striker was in their box when Murphy went for the header, we might not have won it. Players like Isak wins trophies, and are difference makes in the biggest games. That's why the best are twice as expensive as the second best. I would love to keep him, even if it means turning down massive bids. For example Liverpool turned down £300m for a 31 year old Salah, and they've basically won the league with him breaking records. Turning down £300m would be too extreme in our situation, but you get the point. Pretty sure Isak will stay anyways.

Him trolling VVD like that would actually be a more realistic scenario, like way more.

Aye that's totally what happened, this is exactly how PL players communicate with opponents after games.

I have just accepted the fact that there will be rumours about Bruno every single window going forward. Even if he plans to stay his entire carreer here, and ends up doing so. The media doesn't care.
-
I've had the same thought, but don't you think we were just not used to having a player like him at all back then? If Bruno went to Everton now, or some team like that, he would probably be their best player by far, and look like a maestro compared to the rest of the team. I think we've just gotten used to having players who can do stuff that most of our Ashley players in later years could only dream of.

Pretty sure people would give BDB a C instead of an A like 2-3 weeks ago. Maybe a few B's, but not many. Especially if age really is a factor, but apparently that only applies to certain players and not others. As for Bruno, I think the player is a B+, but I'll give him an A since I think he's so important for the team spirit, togetherness and relationships withing the squad. I think he also really helps new players to settle in. I think he has been a very important figure when it comes to Tonali for instance.

Christ.. The norwegian channel that I watched was showing ads through literally all of this. They showed like 1 minute of it after the whistle, and then constant ads until the trophy lifting. It pisses me off so much that they do it. Are these scenes somehow not important..?

These guys at skysports doesn't understand the game at all.. Aye, we're in the relegation zone, but if we just spend an insane amount on a manager who has only been at top clubs, we will start climbing the table immidiately. Because they have so much experience in fighting relegation and managing a squad full of bottom table quality, they really want to come to fight relegation instead of the biggest trophies, and we have unlimited money to spend without any regulations in place. That's just how it all works.

After we missed out on Conference last year, we were going on about how we didn't even want to be in it anyways. Now we even have our trophy. I don't see why we would want it more this time around.
-
Honestly, same, and it's kind of surprising. I highly doubt Arsenal fans would take it as well. I guess it's easier to be humble when you are winning other trophies.

He can buy us some new players aswell while he's at it.

Currently playing against Messi, Busquets and Suarez. Was deffo a sell for me, but wish he had gotten than medal before he left.
-
Thought we should have sold him some time back, but today I'm really happy he stayed to win a trophy with us. On top of that he really helped us win today aswell. Based on this game alone, it was worth the keep for me. Well done.

When we talk about the togetherness, Bruno must be the main contributer by far. So important.
-
That header was an absolute rocket. He doesn't do it that often, but when he does.. By the way. Was hilarious to see MacAllister trying to mark him on a corner. Like father and kid.

The first final win is so massive. Imagine what confidence it gives going into the biggest games in the future. You could tell that the experience from the earlier ones has really started to kick in. They stayed focus throughout (except for that one Bruno slip up), and the tactics were spot on.

I really wish they had more mics around the journalists. Can barely hear anything of what they are asking most of the time.

What does Luke say there right after? "Turns out the clubs wasn't.." or something?

Can't remember the last time I was this excited about going to work on a monday. Probably never!

Remember in one of the second round (our first) vs Forest when he put out the strongest team possible, and we just thought yeah.. He really wants to win a cup this season. We won that on penalties.
