  1. This is basically the last game of any importance for Liverpool this season, with the league pretty much done and dusted. They'll leave it all on the pitch. We will aswell, ofcourse.
  2. Hall has been a top player for nearly a season, just like Gordon was last season. I bet most of the ones ranking Hall as a C would have Gordon as a B at the end of last season. Despite performing for less than a year.
  3. Our second best player this season is a C? Would you guys rate Gordon as a C for our squad last season, just because he didn't make the team the season before?
  4. 20 should be enough for top 5, but if we don't win games like this one, I struggle to see us getting that many points. Edit: actually I realise it would be 64 points, which might not be enough.
  5. I only see 3 games left that are easier than this one. Possibly 4. 4 wins isn't going to give us top 5, so this is a must win to me. Here's their last 5 home games: 2-0 win vs Leicester 0-1 loss vs Brentford 0-2 loss vs Palace 3-2 win vs Fulham 0-5 loss vs Liverpool Being happy with a draw means having a pretty low standard imo.
  6. Fatigue doesn't exist for other teams. Especially not for anyone playing against us.
  7. Looking at their fixtures, I can't see them finishing outside of the top 5 anymore.. Man City has a bunch of "easy" fixtures left aswell. Feels like only the 5th spot is open now.

What if I do worry about the asteroid? Would it never make sense for me to celebrate goals then, because VAR?

    Alexander Isak

By the way. Do you also automatically trust VAR decisions, as the people behind the screen are after all professional Premier League referees compared to us who are just fans?

Sure. But if I were to make a stat about how often recurrences has happened for each club in the last 2 seasons, using percentages. We both know our percentage would be way above average.

Well. We have a cup final coming up pretty soon, that should also have quite some weight in the decision, don't you think? He might be fine, I didn't see it. We'll see.

Would be pretty annoyed if he's out for a while now. We saw this happen too many times last season. Happened again recently with Botman. Different knee in that case, but that can also happen if you're not ready. Don't want to say too much until we have more info on how bad it is, mind.

Not watching. Did he go out injured again? Or are you talking about his performance?

    Anthony Gordon

Doubt Liverpool would even have the slightest of interest with how this season has gone. He hasn't been a key player.
  15. I mean.. This season hasn't been full of injuries. But it's hard to deny that it's the same few most of the time. Pope, Wilson, Isak, Joelinton, Willock and Botman for instance. Botman is still a bit of a doubt in that category admittedly, but we'll see.
  16. Feels like we have a squad full of injury prone players..
  17. I think it's starting to be fair to assume that Man City will get top 5 at this point? They've purely been losing to top teams since that loss vs Villa back in december (they've played 16 games since). Only draw in 2025 was away to Brentford, and the rest are wins. They still can't deal with the heavy hitters, but they take enough points against the rest.
  18. You'll still get decent odds for 7-0 I think. (I know, thats just miserable of me)
  19. 2023 form matters more than 2024 form confirmed. Thanks for the educational lesson. Lets look 2023 stats to see who we shold buy in 2025.
  20. So you think his goals in late 2023 proves that he still got it today? That's literally what you're saying. By the metric of "last season g/a", Howe should be starting Trippier every single game today, and he can't be sold to anyone. You understand it yourself, you just pretend not to. Therefore there is no point trying to explain it again, so I'll leave it there.
