Lots of teams has overperformed for an entire season before.
-
I'm also saving it for an inform team further down the table. No chip used this GW here. Will probably tank a bit.
-
I actually have faith in Everton atm, they look much better. They'll probably lose to Liverpool anyways!
-
I put Begovic as my second GK at the start of the season, thinking it would never ever cause me any issue, because why on earth would I want 3x Everton? Now I'm blocked from picking Moyes, since I also have Myko and Pickford.
-
I agree that Howe could not do much about those games (talking specifically about the worst run). Which is exactly my point. Sometimes you just can't do much at all.
-
And Howe did a terrible job around december/jan last season when we had like 14 players out, solely because we lost a lot of games when his job is to win games?
-
Then why have a go at him when you don't even know whether there was anything he could have done at all? We do actually at the very least know with a lot of certainty that there wasn't much room to do deals. That's pretty obvious by now.

Mitchell would've absolutely loved to have Ashworths budget. Lets not ignore all the context. It's like saying Man Citys director did a better job than the Ipswich director this window, because he spent more money.
-
Can anyone who blames Mitchell tell us what we should have done this window? Try to come up with a scenario where we definietly won't be forced to sell players in june. Tell us who you would sell for a price that would actually attract buyers, and would also allow us to do something of significance. The club did nothing last january aswell (before Mitchell), and we were still in some sort of trouble come june.. It's so easy to point out the problem without offering any sort of realistic solution...

Ollie Watkins sums your recent form up pretty well. So good, but also kinda bad.
-
As expected none of the big sides go out due to the extra 2 games. If there was only 6 games being played, I believe PSG would've been out? More games makes outliers less likely to happen.
-
Yeah, Duran is annoying for me, but that's also what makes him a differential. Got him after Duran got sent off as a punt, him and Foden gave me a fantastic january.
-
I was thinking the same, he's not good with pens. That probably didn't do well for his confidence. I have him on FPL.
-
They'll create a lot, I agree. Looks like it. The question is whether they can actually put the ball in the net. That's the hard part, obviously. That pen from Watkins.
-
Unfortunately that has happened to a million underdogs before, not surprising. They take everyone by surprise, but still lose. Seems to happen more often than not. The bigger side is usually just more clinical in the final third. Not over, mind.
-
Oh, I'm behind. Still 1-1 here.
-
Man City would've scored on that chance we just saw from Brugge. That's usually what makes the difference. We'll see.
-
Yeah I added "unless they score another". City will get another, and probably win imo. The problem is being the better side often isn't good enough for smaller teams like Club Brugge in matches like this.
-
Don't see Club Brugge holding now, unless they score another. Kind of good for us if City goes through, I guess.
-
Who would you like him to sell? I'm not surprised at all, I said this would happen right after the summer window as we don't like to do deals in january anyways with the tight FFP situation. As usual that opinion really upset some people, as they expected us to go on a spending spree after missing out on Guehi.

His time at Spurs was bizarre. PL manager of the month for august (his first month in charge), and then sacked exactly 2 months later.
-
I think Longstaff is currently our only good option behind the 3 in midfield? Willock not looking convincing after the injuries, and Miley is still very young. Midfield is probably the most important position to have some cover for, as we're play with 3 of them who can get injured at any time.
-
Love the replies, they're like "you can't afford him" etc. Oh, so being realistic is a thing?
-
It's a joke haha. Satire towards the Arsenal fans about the Isak stuff.
