He is fine at CB, but not great going forward at RB. It's fine as a backup solution, but there's also the fact that we would only have 2 players to cover it in the entire squad. Only one natural RB if you count Krafth as a natural CB. It's unlikely that we need more than 2 without Europe, but it's a bit risky. Krafth may also get injured, and then Livra is left to play every minute, with us praying that he won't pick one up himself. PTSD from last season this, probably.

I honestly don't think the club could care less about what clubs they are "helping" when figuring out who to buy. As long as they feel like the player will help us with what we need, and the price is not too bad, that will be first priority above all else.

I don't think that Liverpool have any regrets over having Gomez in their squad over the last few seasons. He wasn't a key player, but he didn't need to be.

Many people exclude him based on some loose rumours. You take a concious decision that those rumours doesn't mean much. And you get hard done by with the disallowed goal, rewarding those who excluded him. Classic. I really want to take out Nkunku already, especially with Felix coming in.. Just contemplating on whether to get Mitoma or Minteh. The extra 1.0 will probably come in handy.
