  1. There was no point in saying it. Palace had 4 days of rest, and they looked way more energetic. Would you rather have 4 days of rest than 11?
  2. So either the gap between games is too small, or it's too big? Not sure about that haha. If it was like 3 weeks off, then I would kind of get it, but I'd rather have 11 days off than the 4 days off Palace had.
  3. Was so confused, I thought you were talking about Jarrod Bowen. No goalie was a real bummer for him. I brought in Pickford for Kelleher, one of the few things that went my way.
  4. When they were parking the bus in the start of the second half yesterday, you just knew it was over. We are still having so much trouble doing anything against that, and hard work is not enough in those scenarios. We need technical players to beat it.
  5. You need to look at all of his performances this season vs last season. We gifted him that goal. His right peg is still good.
  6. These games just happens sometimes.. However, if we were the ones who played last sunday, and they had 11 days off, and the exact same game play out. How much would the argument about days of rest be used to explain this performance? But yet, it happened when they had way less rest than us. Goes to show that sometimes we just have terrible games (nobody is perfect), and it's not allways due to tired players. Even when we have had 4 days rest, a bad performance is not necessarily due to fatigue. (I know that in december and january it was). We literally looked knackered, so it would be easy to jump on the lack of rest argument, except for the fact that this time we had 11 days of rest.
  7. Being out for a good while when you're an older player can really set you back. I keep going on about de Bruyne, but he was incredible last season. This season he is nowhere near it. That's one of my biggest concerns with Trippier.
  8. I think they have been really struggling with the amount of games this season. Maybe the new boys can't keep up as much as the players they had in earlier seasons. They've also had injuries to key players who are usually never injured, and they haven't yet been able to come back in full form after the injury.
  9. Sheffield United broke a PL record this weekend, most conceded goals in a 38-game PL season. With 4 games to go. The record with 42 games is 100, they will probably break that one aswell.
  10. I was really close to bringing in Mateta, but I would take -4, and then another -4 later when I wanted him out. So I chose not to. Did not expect 29 points.
  11. We're really struggling against low blocks.. We don't have the finesse to get through it.
  12. It's probably fatigue.. oh sorry, forgot it was Palace who played in the weekend, and not us.
  13. What's going on with Trippier? Been out for almost 2 months now. With a calf injury..
  14. Ten Hag lowkey reminds me of Steve Bruce. "I'm getting the maximum out of the squad", yeah Bruce also wanted the world to think that he was doing his best being 20th, as he was working with crap players. We had Joelinton, Wilson, Maxi, Willock, Schär, Longstaff, Almiron, and so on. Even lashing out at the media for pointing out the obvious.
  15. Exactly. Rumors about Almiron getting sold won't generate many clicks. If it's likely that our star players will stay, how do they generate clicks? They make up their own stories.
  16. The prices paid for the players are why everyone were, and still are, overrating Chelsea. There's this perception that they have a bunch of premium players just because they chose to pay way too much for each of them. Their players are just not very good, and most of them were just overhyped. The price tag doesn't change how good a players is. If someone somehow chose to pay £100m for Almiron, he would still be Almiron. They do have a young squad though, that's the only reason why I don't want to write them off for next season. They are hard to predict.
  17. Chelsea can give anyone a fight when they are on it. Man United has something like 13 injuries right now, but they play the exact same teams as us in their next 3. Palace, Burnley and Sheffield. Then we play them at Old Trafford.

Imagine if Ten Hag said to Rash "You're doing great, don't worry about what other people say. They are just hating on you because you're black" after a game where he barely bothered to make a run and kept losing possession.
  19. Looking at West Hams fixtures, their form, and the fact that they have played 2 more games, it's probably just Man Utd and Chelsea left as real threats for our for us. Chelsea has tough fixtures aswell, but they have performed well against stronger sides this season. Hoping Arsenal will do the job today, that would be huge.
  20. Some of the hype trains that I didn't jump on: De Bruyne - 12p, his second best score all season. 30 min played. Zabarnyi - scores his first goal in 60 something games. Mateta - by far his highest score all season I'm definetly forgetting some more. I guess I have to do the popular things at all times.
  21. One of the big issues with football is that we can't have everything our way. This is what can happen when you get too rich, you become insanely entitled.
  22. Brann is the local team to where I currently live. Would be amazing if it would be possible to see us play here.
  23. How are the Spanish and the Italian media even more shameless than the English media? That's impressive.
  24. I have a feeling that they will build on that win though. Olise is getting back, Eze is there, and Mateta found some form. Might be a tough one this.
