Initially he got a yellow for diving, didn't he? As if he would dive there..
-
Crazy idea - but what if they made the penalty area smaller? That way you get a free kick closer to goal in what used to be a penalty offence. It would change a lot for the goalkeepers aswell though, like goalkick (players are closer) and a smaller area for the GK to use his hands.

He has been injured, but they tend to play Haaland every single game. He often doesn't have to run as much as players like Foden, KDB and Silva.
-
If I were to take him in, it would just be for 1 round. I just think he can get a real haul if he plays both. But it would technically cost me 8 points (or 2 free subs, which is often worth 8 pts). Probably just a bad idea though as Joe Gomez will probably also get a chance.
-
I wonder if it's worth going for Conor Bradley, but I fear that Gomez could start atleast 1 of them.
-
Yes, I'm going to give it to Haaland. I was talking about vice captain. But probably won't matter which one I pick.
-
Fair point. Who knows, maybe Haaland is injured all of a sudden without any notice. Highly unlikely though.
-
I'm really confused about who to pick as vice tripple captain. Foden or de Bruyne? It's really hard to know which one who will be rotated the most in the coming games.
-
Yeah, I missed it. Just saw that this was posted yesterday. Good to see them being cautious though, it's not an easy one to recove from as he said.
-
Just saw that he featured 39 times for PSG in one season, yet they sold him to Palace in the summer after that? I guess he came on as a sub for the most part?
-
Was a strange one. He was never the same player again after leaving us.
-
Christ. Their 3rd ACL injury this season. He's also a very important player.
-
There was a long streak from january to around the start of may where Trippier got 1-2 FPL points ever single game (except in the 2-0 one against Man Utd where he hauled). We conceded 1 goal almost every single game (sometimes 2 and once 3), and he didn't get a single goal or assist apart from that one game. It was at the time when we were not scoring from any of our corners, or set pieces in general. We were winning nearly every game in that period though, so it didn't get noticed as much. That's why it feels like he had more last season.
-
Not sure if it was mentioned here, but he injured his calf in the warmup? Hope he is okay.. We are even getting injuries in the warmup now.
-
Luckily I brought him in 2 gameweeks before he became shit.
-
I'm just going to let double fixture fool me once again. It often does.

Defensive midfielders are rarely included in the "best player in the world" discussions. Definetly the player that would hurt them the most if he got injured, I'd even say that he's their best player overall. Probably also better than Mbappe overall. I don't think that he's better than Bellingham though.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13048717/Michael-Olise-hamstring-injury-Brighton-Crystal-Palace-Roy-Hodgson.html And that... that is why you need to be careful with a player returning from hamstring.
-
Hilarious how Pochettino said that Chelsea need to go on another spending spree in january, because he doesn't have good enough players.. That didn't really work out well.
-
Saudi league to the rescue.
-
Olise possibly, but this season he has just kept getting reoccurences of the same injury, since Hodgson keeps playing him when he's recovering from a hamstring. He seems like the kind of player who would get a bunch of muscular injuries, however. Like the Doku/ASM category.
-
Remember when they said this about our team with Steve Bruce? Honestly Hodgson is starting to remind me of Bruce lately, making excuses before the games have even started, and conceding tons despite setting up his team to be quite defensive.

Feels kind of weird how he played for 11 years at Man United and Arsenal. I think he was a decent sub at Man United, but he was never really that good. It also feels like an eternity ago, I was surprised to find out that he's "only" 33.
