I am hoping that this run of away fixtures could see some more positive results for Howe. We have really struggled to break the weaker teams down and create much but have been very solid. Hopefully we can continue to be solid but show something on the counter attack against the teams that will have a go at us. Not opposed to seeing 5 at the back in a few of these away games where we are going to be required to sit deeper and defend, it has worked well in the past against the bigger teams.

Five at the back for me and try and hit on the counter, we are not going to win the midfield battle so just go with two in the centre of midfield and try and do them on transition: Pope Miley Thiaw Botman Burn Hall Bruno Tonali Elanga Woltemade Gordon

My main disagreement with this is on Ramsey, who I actually think is a decent player and will get better. We absolutely should have known that there was a decent chance he was going to get injured because he has always been injury prone. Wissa was bad luck and will hopefully improve as he gets fitter and Elanga on paper looked like it would work in all fairness. Obviously there is the argument that we should have been signing a more technical right winger because we need to adapt our style but I don't think anyone envisaged Elanga being this bad.

That was awful, referee is horrendous as usual (can’t stand him). How Tielemans hasn’t been booked is beyond me. Another game that is crying out for a go at Wolt/Wissa together, let’s see if he does it!

All three coming off here have been brilliant. Would be great if all three coming on could do something positive for their own confidence
