Maybe to a degree but they still normally put the flag up after the event for offsides because it’s not (usually) subjective. Agree that they probably don’t give decisions on penalties and red cards sometimes because they know VAR is there though

Ideally Bruno doesn't end up in an actual foot race with Salah, more for defensive graft and doubling up which in my opinion Willock has been very poor at all season. All well and good Willock having the pace to keep up with Salah but if he doesn't have the correct mind set to actually track back and put the shift in then it is useless. Why would Bruno, the centre mid, be running after a right winger that stays high on the full back for 90 minutes? Salah would be Hall's job, but would get help from the LCM.

Shows how far we have come doesn't it, Saudi's bought us for almost £300m and now three of our players are probably worth that alone (not to even mention Tonali and Bruno's worth).
