  1. Got the fucking ball, this ref man!
  2. Lucky to be level. Man to man isn’t working here so far, just slightly off it and they look dangerous
  3. Not a red but Schar putting in one of his stinkers, he has been due one and leaving him one on one with Watkins is always risky
  4. Van Hecke lucky to avoid a red card apparently
  5. Brentford 1-1 Brighton Palace 2-1 Bournemouth Everton 1-1 Man City West Ham 2-0 Southampton Villa 2-2 Newcastle Fulham 1-0 Chelsea Ipswich 1-3 Arsenal Man United 1-2 Wolves Leicester 0-3 Liverpool Spurs 1-1 Forest Man City 2-1 Villa Arsenal 1-0 Palace
  6. No phones at all, they get put in a small pouch which is sealed and can’t be opened unless you’re outside the main room. So I could nip out and check every now and then
  7. Going to a gig with a rule of no phones during this game, going to feel strange knowing they’re playing but not knowing the score
  8. Going to be tricky and it has become a free hit really thanks to our form and other teams dropping off. At least a point means that we stay above Villa after this weekend no matter what happens in our game but hopefully we can get three! Wonder if Eze will be rested, took a knock against Man City and in the past he has always struggled to play three games in a week.
  9. They will do them 3-2. The hope is what is annoying but at the end of the day if they do win we all expected them to and it’s the away games I expect them to drop points. Of course they may well still drop points anyway!
  10. 2-0 Ipswich. We have been here this weekend already
  11. The thought of them making loads of changes actually makes me more nervous. Should comfortably win anyway but just puts a bit of pressure on us if they’re playing reserves and kids
  12. Could also be 5 ahead of Forest if Spurs show up (could be post Ange if they lose midweek). Huge week ahead!
  13. 4 points in the next 2 games and we are above Forest then!

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

One of our main problems over the years is that we struggle to break teams down that sit back, especially if we go 1-0 down. Having someone like Cunha who can play AM with Bruno and Tonali behind in these games could be a huge difference maker. He wouldn’t ‘replace’ Joelinton because of the amount of games we play and the different things we need in different games. Would be a great signing for me, my only issue would be that we need other things more urgently and presumably don’t have enough to spend to cover them all.
  15. Man City 1-1 Palace Brighton 3-0 Leicester Forest 2-1 Everton Southampton 0-2 Villa Arsenal 2-0 Brentford Chelsea 2-0 Ipswich Liverpool 3-1 West Ham Wolves 1-1 Spurs Newcastle 3-0 Man United Bournemouth 1-1 Fulham Newcastle 2-1 Palace

    Tino Livramento

He was brilliant again. It has been mentioned but one of his issues is having Murphy in front of him. Murphy has done amazing at the top end of the pitch but in build up is so limited which doesn’t help the RB, a more elite RW would get more out of Tino (sorry Murphy!)

    Sandro Tonali

He’s incredible and the main reason for our upturn in form from last season and early this season. I don’t want to turn it into slagging off Longstaff but the difference between the two is massive. Didn’t expect Bruno to not be our best centre mid but here we are
  18. Happy with that, very dull second half and would have liked more goals but the three points is important. Keep racking them up and GD won’t matter. My main disappointment was all the subs (bar Krafth) looking pretty poor
  19. Need to up the tempo a bit to try and improve our GD. Other than that can’t complain with 3-0 away from home in the PL. Miley on for Joelinton for me. When Isak goes off he needs to bring Osula on but we know it will be Wilson. Give Neave the last 15 on the wing as well
  20. Came off last game as soon as we went 1-1 and we still found a way. I get what you are saying though and there is no right or wrong and I my judgement may be clouded by the decision to captain him in FPL
  21. Must be strange for the fans as surely the Championship seasons for these teams are more exciting than the Premier League ones and therefore getting promoted doesn't become exciting as you just know that you are going to get spanked the following season.
  22. Yep, get an early goal and the fans are going to really turn. I would start Isak if fit to try and race into an early lead and get him off at half time if we are a few up.
  23. We are fighting for CL with a team who breached PSR to get there (but fair play to them regardless), one who is facing a potential points deduction due to the 115 charges, one who has cooked the books for two years straight by selling hundreds of millions of assets to themselves and one who is supposedly sailing close to the wind in terms of breaching PSR all without barely spending a penny for two years to comply with these ridiculous rules ourselves. Huge respect to Eddie and the team for what they have achieved whether we get top 5 or not.
