We have spent £55m on him so think we should give him these last 4 games to see what he can do with more players around him. Maybe he just needs to get some confidence (yes I might be being too positive!)

Thought it was a poor decision to take him off. Would have taken Willock and Murphy off for the two that came on and put Osula out wide personally.

Only just watched it and we have lost it on set pieces. First off just leaving Eze (who is one of the best strikers of the ball in the league) free on the edge of the area after they made it clear that was the tactic is brainless. Stick someone like Murphy or Willock on him that contribute nothing to the middle of the box just to deter them. Secondly the quality of our delivery today was abysmal - Bruno, Tonali and Elanga all having stinkers especially at the end. Better performance than expected but let down by the above and Wissa blazing one over.

The likes of Glasner and Iraola have obviously done very well in their respective roles but they are not better than Howe. Yes, things have gone a little stale but I am hoping a refresh in the summer with a change in players will help freshen things up. If Iraola and Glasner are the level we are going after I would sooner keep Howe, I would only get rid for an elite coach and if that is not realistic then I would stick with the man who has got us CL twice and won us a trophy.

This is the game we have to do something different in for me, and that difference is 4-4-2. If you try and play it short against them they’ll press you to death. Get Woltemade and Osula right up top, Gordon LW and Barnes RW and go direct. They don’t like playing direct teams, the manager has even said that. Physically try and outdo them, nothing to lose!

Also, it’s a dive from Lerma but it’s also a penalty. Both of those things can be true and it was ridiculous from Botman. A shirt pull from a corner on Mateta you’d maybe accept. But why on earth are you pulling Lerma’s shirt from a long throw in the last minute, what is he going to do from that situation realistically? Botman should be able to win that header 8 out of 10 times minimum
