Him and Delap not impressing is a positive for me this weekend

Dodged a bullet with this one....

Weird that they both had white shorts when there were so many other options. I thought you weren't allowed to have the same coloured shorts?

95/96 away shirt re-release confirmed for this season.

that sounds very positive

Has anyone been on the Villa forums to see what their fans are saying? If they are angry/sad to see him go that is a great sign. Or are they indifferent?

Aye it seems to be another one of those things where they are trying to create an identity rather than it just evolving. "THE CITY BY THE SEA" for example.

this is good - they've made a shirt that honours the 'black cats' nickname, and the black cat on it is very light grey: https://www.footyheadlines.com/2025/08/new-sunderland-25-26-third-kit.html Also: it also has an entire paragraph of text on the inside explaining the why Sunderland are known as 'the black cats'

Don't think Speak Sunderland is very well respected source. Has 286 followers.

Love El Khannous. I think he possesses exceptional control of the ball and great vision, qualities that allow him to excel in one-on-one situations and execute precise, defense-splitting passes. His playing style is characterized by his close ball control, agility, and the ability to navigate tight spaces. His former coach at Genk, Michel Ribeiro, lauded him for having "eyes in his back," a testament to his ability to anticipate the movement of his teammates and opponents.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

I don't think Ekitike would ever have been '100% in' at NUFC. -
those are two powerful finishes!

I've been an admirer of this player for a long time. He combines strength and aerial ability to create opportunities and threaten in the penalty area. His acceleration aids counterattacks, while his finishing shows promise with both feet and his head. He applies pressure effectively, disrupts opposition play, and contributes defensively with tracking and aerial support. His high work rate and direct approach enhance his impact in attack. I find that he is more than just a strong striker who holds up play and distributes the ball. He plays the role of two attackers: a target man who occupies defenders and a mobile forward who finds space. If defenders close down the spaces, he acts as a traditional No.9; if they block him, he adapts to exploit openings

Ok so what you meant to say was "there was a dozen or so people on N-O wanted Eddie Howe out".

A large portion? How have you quantified that?
