I think people will be in for a shock if they are thinking our starting 11 will be drastically improved / changed come the season Knowing Eddie and guessing the signing we make, I can only imagine a new RW would start. Can imagine new CB on the bench at the start, and don't forget Longstaff starting until Tonali ban has ended 🙂

I've not Seen Thiaw other than highlights, who knows if we got him he could become our VVD for 10 years But I really hope our next centre back to compliment Botman is of the Rudiger / Konate etc mould, athletic, fast and aggressive, to compliment Botman as more of a sweeper etc

Good to see some Bruno praise from a big Twitter account (if that's even worth anything) I do feel having a more athletic and defensive partner as a 6 / subbing with him as a 2 in midfield would better enable us, like Rice and Jorgino/Partey at arsenal, like Pep probably wanted Rodri and Rice to be if he managed to get rice etc But seems we're going a more fluid 3 in midfield based on who we have signed and way we play

I agree love his skillet and in theory should really help our ability to keep the ball as we move from defense / midfield I do wonder if Howe will start with a Burn/Lloyd though, mainly because those 2 are a total different style to Hall

Discraceful what Chelsea have done to Chalobah, just read he's been their since he was 8 and Is contracted till 2028 I wouldn't want him as our no.1 right centre back, but think he'd be great as a CB in a 3, which we don't play, or a RB who acts as the third CB in possession Though imagine he's on canny wages since he's at Chelsea

I only ask as I look at Spurs as our direct competitors, despite them being supieror in the PSR world, I'd hope to be pushing for top 6/4 with them, and if he isn't good enough for them, is he good enough for us? I say this without much knowledge of him, just curious!

We don't have the revenue against PSR to consider putting people on 250k a week, we're miles off that in reality

Always find these 'recruitment meetings a later date' hard to believe, people have said it in the past, said they would do it at Alnwick last weekend, and now this week in Germany Surely our club is prompt and proactive with recruitment, and I'm sure they can manage meetings via teams etc, not just waiting 4/5 weeks into the transfer window where many opportunities could now be unavailable
