also the longer he's not playing the more his value and reputation will go down and less clubs will be interested bravo Chelsea

https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/topic/61005-newcastle-1-0-saints-match-thread/page/22/ some of the comments from their fans are so pathetic feeling hard done by, complaining about our shithousery while at the same time ignoring BBD's conduct or dismissing it as if we'd do the same makes the win taste a little sweeter as otherwise couldn't give a toss about them
-
it really annoys me that BD won't get punished for his conduct, outright cheating if he keeps that behaviour up other teams will surely be out to get him
-
what Diaz did was far, far, far worse than what Schar did fouling after the whistle, provoking a reaction and then feigning injury with the sole intention of getting his opponent sent off if Soton fans are saying it's a red it's just football fans being football fans - completely disingenuous or blinkered as the other way round they'd be fuming Schar was silly but still very much the victim here as will miss 3 games which may well cost us points if anything Diaz should've been sent off the system is broken
-
what I hate most about fans of other clubs such as MU, Liverpool etc is their sense of entitlement unfortunately it seems a lot of Newcastle fans are no different
-
in terms of signings under Howe, imo almost all of them have been a success, which I believe is quite rare for most clubs most here seemed to be against Gordon signing at the time and quite a few said Isak was too expensive maybe I'm overly optimistic but I reckon this will prove to be another great signing
-
think this will be a hugely important signing for us if it goes through, just brings that extra bit of quality and depth to the squad if the team can get back to its defensive solidity of 22/23 and maintain the prolific goalscoring of last season then we're in for a really good season
-
The Ghost of Ian Woan will come back to haunt us through Anderson now ffs
-
deader than a dead thing in dead land
-
if CP can afford to turn down that kind of money and think they can hold on to their 'superstar' players then fair play but fuck them if they're just timewasting and hoping a bidding war will materialise
-
sounds like they're desperate for other bidders
-
MU taking a £35m loss on Wan Bissaka who's only 26 wtf surely he's still worth more
-
Solanke proving to be another great signing Howe made at Bournemouth
-
new toy for Todd
-
will be interesting to see how Todibo does in the PL given all the hype and having never seen him play perhaps our apparent lack of interest could be Ineos not wanting to play ball with Newcastle after the Ashworth saga
-
Zubimendi to Liverpool was reported a few days ago but haven't really heard anything since. Seems like these big transfers often just require a lot of patience. Think it was better not knowing anything until it happened, like when Shearer signed the story just broke on BBC during their Olympics coverage.
-
it is strange how Everton were penalised for point 2 if MU were given an allowance
-
Chelsea are cleaning up with all their academy players and sell on clauses Presume they got away with the selling hotels to themselves loophole and self-reported financial breaches, not to mention the Abramovich debt...
-
apologies for triple post above! thought it wasn't submitting it also more on topic, think Solanke will do well at Spurs
-
I don't doubt this was the case as you say, but missed this myself - can you provide any further info? Mainly so I can use it against my MU glory hunting mates who never stop talking about the Fergie days.
-
I took his comments about Newcastle being annoying to play as a compliment. He speaks well.

Froggy said "we had the worst injury crisis last season" ETH said "we were not even the worst" Checkmate.
-
like even ETH admitted they weren't the worst https://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/jul/26/erik-ten-hag-manchester-united-squad-depth-transfers-rashford “[There are] so many reasons [for the high number],” he added. “The amount of games. The fixture list. The load on the players, the pressure on the players is so high and we are not the only team with so many injuries, we were not even the worst [last term]. Also, bad luck, we had them at the end of the season in the back four and it cost us a lot of points. The load and pressure on players is immense, with the new model in Europe [competitions] next season.”
