  1. Romano going to be relentless over next 24 hours as Hughes uses him as a mouth piece to stir up Isak again.
  2. £30m for Hojlund is a polite way of saying Amorim has told the club he has little intention of playing him this season.

Surely we sign a CM as a priority before Sela? Got 4 CMs ffs and one of them is Miley who’s still to develop and progress
  4. Football transfers are nothing like buying knock off merch in Turkey A piss poor offer will always just rattle clubs and they will actively want the player to move elsewhere.

Well the option for Isak then would be, here’s a £160m bid from Saudi, you can move there or you are getting minimal minutes in a World Cup year. Next summer, we can get what Liverpool offered from Saudi again, and again it’s Isak you can move or it’s another season being third choice. We have so many options to make life hard for Isak and still get £100m+. None of them have to involve selling to Liverpool. Isak wants to waste two full seasons and hope Liverpool don’t move on, he’s proper dumb.
  6. The £25m fee was more how it was £15m below asking price. Was a bid that was never ever getting accepted so was just dumb and a waste of time.
  7. He’s followed up that terms are agreeable but player hasn’t decided on which club to join. Aka, he’s not sold on us and wants Man Utd if they match it.
  8. PIF should be cunts when the English window closes, and make a bid for Allison. At least with Allison, he’ll potentially want that move and it’ll force Liverpool to go with Marma earlier than they want with Woodman as number 2 as they can’t sign anyone.
  9. When has our transfer dealings for past 12 months made any sense? We bid £25m for fucking Wissa.
  10. Probably had to move now though with no agreement because it’s only way to get Man Utd out of the deal, as they’re his first choice.
  11. Yea, he’s not joining if Man Utd gamble and match our price.
  12. Nah, got to wait for it to be a negative story and he’ll be all over it LIVE FROM SEOUL

Can’t see us going back in for him unless we get the £150m for Isak. Both situations, we can wait till January and do the deals, or even next summer (which you’d probably go elsewhere). No need for us to push on with him when we need to sign a CB / CM. It’s not a priority position if Isak comes back with tail between his legs.
  14. I mean it’s Wilson replacement in squad, but it would provide us a position of strength where we can use Isak as a bench option as punishment. Liverpool do offer us £150m+, we’d be more willing to sell and probably go for someone like Wissa.
  15. Yea, Man Utd wanting €65m, nah it’s €75m as Newcastle have offered that.
  16. Situation needs ending by middle of next week, because we can’t even contemplate bringing Isak back to first team training when his agent is clearly talking to Liverpool daily. 100% would be relying back the tactical approach we will be taking to the Liverpool game if Isak is training ahead of it and transfer was still rumbling on.
  17. Hope we fucking pump Liverpool at home on MNF. Basically has to be another league cup final atmosphere from everyone, players and fans. Really stick it to the cunts early on in the season.
  18. He sounds annoyed, but more towards Liverpool and people around Isak.
  19. If we could bring in the same calibre of striker to Isak for a lot less money, why don’t Liverpool just sign that striker?
  20. Feels they’re gambling on getting UCL, Rashford money will come next summer and they’ll get the top fees they expect for Sancho / Antony / Garnacho. All don’t happen, there’s going to be an almighty fire sale end of season, especially if they have to sack Amorim and his coaches mid season. It will be lapped up by their fans, but they need to be wary at what Ratcliffe is doing. It’s near reckless stuff and his track record is horrific.
  21. It seems to all be banked on us signing two strikers, but I don’t know why we have too? Sign one, Isak comes back, he doesn’t then even need to be a starter, and we can get £120m next summer.
  22. Hope is getting himself a new car thanks to this Isak saga. Even if he moved, guy would be churning out articles linked to Isak all season.
  23. Keep seeing everywhere Liverpool will come back because they can afford it, but I don’t think they can. Jumping to £150m from £110m is massive, that’s a CB signing they need there. Then it’s all the wages, signing fee etc on top. Loading up on near £300m for two players when you take signing on fee and first year wages into account isn’t the smartest business.
  24. If Liverpool don’t come back in for a 2nd bid, it still leaves the door open for us to do a PR overdrive to bring Isak back into the fold
