  1. Also refused to play first league game I think as he’s head wasn’t there.
  2. Spurs gazumped us for Kudus if you want to believe all what’s tweeted.
  3. I find it weird no-one has signed this guy yet? Same for Jamie Vardy.

I’ve giving up hope on him signing. We need him regardless if Isak stays or goes, offered £25m 3+ weeks ago and done what since? Nothing. Clearly not keen for the price or we’d have done it by now. More this window goes on, what the fuck made the Elanga deal happen? It just sticks out like a sore thumb to the rest? Was it a deal Mitchell actually got lined up earlier in year so was a simple deal to do once season ended?
  5. Stinks of a Saudi transfer.
  6. Sign for like £60m, of which like £20m goes to Man Utd
  7. Would expect SELA weekend media stuff will draw the line. It’s either worded as in he’s leaving and it will be a case of a deal to be made, or he’s staying. Last update from Howe left it open whilst talks would take place this week. And whilst I wouldn’t expect him to be involved this weekend regardless, Howe press conference will clear things up this time round.
  8. Guess that’s why we were linked with McGinn, got a sniff he could be available. Hope we stay well clear.
  9. Another win (or not) for the ITKs confident he was coming here and Man Utd preference was guff.
  10. He can get an Irish passport if needed.
  11. He also left an unflushed shit in the Newcastle bogs after the Everton game as a parting gift. That's what I've heard.
  12. Yep, but let the narrative be it wasn't because he was injured after playing through discomfort in Everton game, it was because he couldn't be fucked in Everton game, knew if we lost we could (and should've really) missed out on UCL which would've made his move to Liverpool easier. Then pulled out of Sweden squad so he could thrash out a move to Liverpool.
  13. We have to force the hand though. It's better than doing nothing, as Liverpool getting him for £0 next summer is a joke when it should be costing them £40m minimum. He has, but just one of those transfer where theres been noise all summer, which indicates Gallagher wants to come back and Atletico will be open if terms are good. Simeone is someone who's never stood in way of someone leaving. They give their all for him, he's happy to repay back.
  14. To avoid posting in a different thread, been trying to think of what the actual long term plan can be for 2026 onwards, because there is SO MUCH that needs doing to the squad, especially if current window is fucked (and not rescued further in January). GK - Not a fucking clue. It's a mess and I don't know what the club is thinking seeing all three of Ruddy, Ramsdale, Pope technically don't have a contract from 1st July 2026 RB - Tino, New RB 2026 CB - Burn, Botman, New CB 2025, New CB 2026 LB - Hall, New LB 2026 CM - Bruno G, Tonali, Miley, New CM 2025, Joelinton, New CM 2026 LW - Barnes, Gordon ST - New ST 2025, New ST 2026 RW - Elanga, Murphy That's based on we should be moving on at end of this season, Trippier, Schar, Lascelles, Krafth, Targett, Willock and potentially Osula if he doesn't stake a more visual squad place. Just reinforces how important this summers window is to avoid the serious knocks on next summer, like needing to sign two CBs in one window, or needing to extend Schar. It's also based on Isak being only named outgoing, but wouldn't rule out another because there's serious decisions to be made next summer too. Barnes last window to get a sale or give new deal. Bruno G looking for final big new contract, that will be like £220k+ way into his 30s. Joelinton if it's another injury disrupted season. Botman if he's totally broken. Seriously hope we get CEO / DoF sorted ASAP because they have a mega massive 12 months coming up, or we can kiss goodbye to the project and permanently accept we'll be a side thats outside the elite, but could hook up a good season occassionally if things go our way.
  15. All noise recently on Gallagher is him going to Spurs But at this point, him for £45m mark and Guehi for £40m (if Liverpool don't come in at that point), with any steady striker is what can only save this window (with Isak staying). They're players that will 100% be at the required Howe fitness levels and can slot straight into squad/league no problem. Isak we can plan for life after in 2026 and how to use the money on our squad, because it may well be a decision is made to sell someone else alongside Isak and really go for it.
  16. Forest likely could get their PSR deal elsewhere so we were limited to what we could do with Anderson, but even Elanga on loan for £20m with obligation to buy for £45m would actually have been better.
  17. I still find it amazing we couldn’t get ANY other Forest player in deal that cost £20m. Like a promising youth player would be better, someone that could either contribute any actual minute or be a prospect in future. Was it a case of when he was signed, Howe said he has no intention of ever using him as he wasn’t on board?
  18. We needed a CB and CM from the start though before Isak situation came to light, or the club did actually know and it's another failure from their part to leave it to this point. Like the CB and CM should be circa £40m each, selling Isak and raising that to £60m, does that really open up more targets? At this point in window, those targets clubs will likely not sell as the window in their eyes has closed. We're going to be scrapping around the players clubs actively want gone, because we've fucked it so hard, we don't have the time to do the ground work that would usually take a few weeks.

Al-Nassar is essentially Cristiano Ronaldo FC. So I would put more weight behind a theory that he wants them to sign Wissa as it fucks us over and helps Man Utd.
  20. That was in season before. Nothing stopping us then selling players that summer to balance it out. Instead chose to sell minimal after signing more. Stepping ahead and paying is what got us the squad we need, and what's held us back in improving that squad past 12 months. No-one wants to make the call, no-one wants to take accountability upstairs. Leads to the mess we're seeing this window after last.
  21. I could see him either going to Saudi late in window as PIF help out Clearlake again, or he joins an Italian club on loan with option to buy for £60m. Because he either scores out there and the Italian club buys, or there's a market to sell him in England after goals elsewhere. Chelsea can then get better book value with a year down the line.
  22. Deal to be made where Chelsea then sign Murrilo to replace Colwill. Scratching everyone’s backs.
  23. If Baleb becomes available, Chelsea will sign him.
