Schar one year deal if he’s happy to expect that, rest released. We don’t need them.
-
Think if Trippier has got things balanced off the pitch and won’t be distracted, we may as well keep him to end of season. If he’s happy to take substantially lower wages, wouldn’t be against a new one year deal as back up to Tino. But if depends if he wants a longer final contract and move either closer to his kids or elsewhere for a fresh start and a final football experience before retiring.

Yea, Schar a loss because of the balls he can play that would proper hurt Spurs defence. Talking those long balls where it looks like he's not going to play it, then bam, it's pin point. None of our CBs can play those. Back to the confidence levels for this game that I had before West Ham game Bring the same intensity again for first half, with general play, and we should get 2+ up, get the crowd on their back and play on the counter where the spaces will be a joke. Willock in for Joelinton will be my preference. Would also have Trippier RCB, because I think he's experience would manage Solanke better than Kelly, plus it still gives us that ball playing CB option.

Forest owner to do us a favour, after we helped each other out in Summer and they got the better longer term deal?
-
Plus he's a proper number 9 and future England number 9. Those type of strikers have the tasty nostalgia of how you want a striker to be. Smashing fuckers and twatting the ball at the goal with power.
-
It doesn't need to be either or. Both I feel can play together at times too, with Isak on LW or Delap on RW (in particular games / desperation). It's also the fact he's the young 2nd striker that would be hungry and ambitious to get ahead of Isak, and one that will keep Isak honest and at a high level. Which lets be honest, Osula won't (at the moment) and if we got a clear back up striker (DCL) wouldn't either.

Wonder how much of a game changer UCL will be for our plans if we make it? Like, does it suddenly boost transfer kitty by an extra £50m so we can roll the dice on more established names and be more ruthless with our squad building this summer? Does it open up the sponsorship taps? Gives us more flexibility to meet Isak deserved contract demands and not impact on transfers? Difference between Europe and UCL feels big to get those named signings. Getting it twice in last three seasons, which only Arsenal/Man City/Liverpool can match would be some statement to the top players in Europe. That we are a club where you can regularly play in this competition if those other ones don't want you. Like Tonali I doubt we get in 2023 if we were not in UCL. It's those type of players. Ones who are established at a top club and shown their output at the highest level.

Winning helps cover the tired legs. Rather keep it fresh and near same (bar the suggest change above) and then look to fresh legs for first leg.

Delap looked immense again last night. Our budget won't allow it, but I wish we could sign him end of season. He's going to be a top forward in years to come, so good already in his rawness, and only going to get better as he fine tunes the skillset. Probably can see Chelsea targeting him though and that will be sickening. For all the talk of Arsenal and Isak, Delap should be the one they get (as in more attainable). If there's a window, we should get him, because if not, he's only going to go to a top club and then be unattainable forever.

Can’t he just coach a side that looks like this out of possession and in possession, if he’s some top coach? Out of possession: 4-5-1 Dalot, Yoro, De Ligt, Martinez Fernandes, Mainoo, Casemiro, Ugarte, Garnacho Hojlund In Possesion: 3-5-2 Yoro, De Ligt, Martinez Dalot, Mainoo, Casemiro, Ugarte, Garnacho Fernandes, Hojlund Needs 3 in the middle and that’s something he has to change in his ‘philosophy’ whilst still having 3 at the back, if he’s going to last.

It’s been said loads, but Man Utd are way off. Amorim must have seen some of Man Utd under ETH, where Case / Eriksen just don’t work. Even just any 2 CMs won’t work, but here we are, persisting with a 3-4-3 as it’s his only idea that’s centred on just 2 CMs. It’s never going to work consistently in the Prem. Going to be out run. Three CBs, still weak defensively. Best attackers are Rashford and Garnacho. Both being sidelined because of training stuff (apparently only had 4 full training sessions, so nuts to discard them based on that). I’m 100% confident that if they lose next two games, Ratcliffe will sack him. Because his excuses only going to get weirder and more tiresome.
-
At least they can blame Rashford for that game. Bad influence in dressing room. Rotten. Distracted all the other players which made them play like shit.
-
It’s huge alarm bells that he thinks 2 CMs is going to work, after ETH has failed with it. Anyway, for us, superb. Feared we would play within ourselves, but we didn’t. Said it other week, but since we’ve settled on a consistent XI, with the right players in, it’s been clicking. Howe getting us into the groove and I really do believe now that we have changed up our play so levels were low start of season, so we can maintain a high level back end of season which will help with cups too.
-
Amorim is a dumb coach.
-
I don’t think we will at all approach this game thinking it’s an easy win. If anything the opposite, we treat it as a super hard game, play within ourselves and concede far too much respect to Man Utd who can grow into the game. The league cup is the benchmark for me. We smelt blood in that first half after an early attack, and just went ruthless. End of last season game, that was an even worse Man Utd side, and we treated it like they were some top team and backed off too much.

Missing out on UCL to Forest will be jokes
-
The two key battles will be our midfield against theirs (our pace v the serious lack of theirs in there) then their attack against our defence (their serious pace v lack of ours there). The other key will be to get the crowd silent early on and groaning. The more their crowd gets involved, regardless of Man Utd form over the years, they can shift momentum quick against run of play as we’ve seen many times.

6 games, only 2 on TV

Perfect player for Real Madrid and a good time to move. Won everything there is to win at Liverpool and gets to play for Real Madrid in his peak years.
-
Yes, he’ll count as club developed. Wouldn’t be shocked if we signed Freddie Woodman on a free this summer to get another HG on the books as part of the GK group.
-
So what’s the reason? All people say is “Because his attitude stinks / performances crap”. Like, so are 90% of rest of the team? Yet some experienced guys such as Martinez get a free pass for a stinky performance after stinky performance. Get the reason to probably wanting to move him on as he’s getting to last window to get a fee and Garnacho is the future, but the way the fans are lapping up the Amorim stance is weird. Been the same for many many more players before Rashford when a manager has taken a stance and nothing has changed
-
Why do people think dropping Rashford is some masterstroke? He's just the latest string of players that's been made a scapegoat. Zirkzee attitude and effort on the pitch looks worse than anything Rashford does. Guy scored in opening 2 Prem games under Amorim when starting, and since then, they've scored 4 in 5. I find it amazing the buy in Amorim has got from so many people because he talks well Think he has dazzled Ratcliffe in a conversation too. He's not going to be allowed to make wholesale changes, because there's a lot of money tied up in this squad, and it's a relatively new squad Take their best starting XI on paper arguably: Onana: Yoro, De Ligt, Martinez: Mazzaori, Ugarte, Mainoo, Shaw: Garnacho, Fernandes: Hojlund One player there (Shaw) taken out. Rest is new people in past 18 months or the club captain on a new mega deal
-
Been over this before in previous windows. If a sale is there for a player, sell them. Don't keep them in case the worse happens, as we then miss out on valuable money and we end up like we are currently with Almiron, Wilson etc.
