Find it wild how many people are pinned on Minteh, when he’s not played one single minute. Teams move players on who don’t play a minute all the time, Brighton with Gyokeres, Man City with Porto and Liverpool with Ayomini to remember a few. Just part of modern day FFP.

Nkunku must be close to going out on loan this summer at this rate. £50m striker that’s going to be 3rd choice at this rate

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

Not straight off the bat, but 12 months time could shine a different light on a few players. Botman Targett Tonali Barnes They’re the four where things could look great by end of this season coming, or quite a lot of wasted money. -
5D Eddie. Reform to win GE, we win league due to new immigration rules and work quota.
-
Kilman is proper underwhelming for me. You need at least one pacey CB to compete at top end. Can’t have a defence that’s all 3rd gear.
-
Barely missed a game last season through an injury like wrestling for the ball and tearing a pec muscle. 22-23 the injury hit season, outside that largely fine muscle wise which is where the injury prone would be a concern.
-
You know what you are getting with DCL though, and injury prone is slightly harsh IMO. No where near Wilson who is the definition of injury prone. A younger version (talking Solanke type) is north of £50m+ Talent abroad, likes of Zirkee, around that fee too, but then they’re not playing every week as Isak is defacto number 1. We’re losing Wilson most likely, so need a back up striker that’s happy with that, and one that doesn’t cost much. That reduces market loads unless we go for a raw talent.
-
If they were signing him as their main attacker and paying over odds. We are not signing him as main striker, and fee is unknown at the moment.
-
Just like Gordon, he’ll be far better in a side that’s better coached attacking wise and on front foot. Strong player for midfield and wide men to work off, and continues our set piece threat.
-
Think it all depends on fee for me. Get him under £20m, it’s fine as a back up for next 4-5 years, where he’s 2nd choice for first 2 seasons before becoming 3rd choice.
-
Real shame, but can accept him going to Bayern. Legit heavyweight.

TAA should be playing RB. Get Walker has pace which is a strong asset for recovery, but hes fucking shit going forward. The cross for Kane yesterday was so bad. Great pace to create the chance to start off with, but then spent ages on the ball, before just smashing the cross head down into the defender, which then deflected onto a 2nd defender. Guy has such little fineness to his crossing/passing in those situations. He’s never going to stick one perfectly between the CBs for Kane to score, which TAA would. It’s poor from Southgate how in his tenure, he’s just hardly used TAA at RB. Which leaves it as play him CM (awful) or not picked
-
Because he’s a manager that has a fixed philosophy, and we’ve seen it enough times that you need to be pragmatic or it fails (passing out from back in every situation). Chelsea for me, not a side designed ready for it, and potentially too youthful to deal with the set backs.
-
They’ve hired an absolute melt of a manager. More chance of them falling back to mid table then be UCL. Palmer silly output really pushed them up to a false position.
-
Schar been laughably bad this game from word go.
-
That’s some money. What £40m+, considering we got Hall for less than £30m. Looks a handy player, but I’m skeptical on him defensively in premier league, feels far too much a winger than a LB.
-
Guy will be available to buy from real in 2025 anyway, as his path is blocked at Real and they’ll want to bring in some money in future.
-
He’s also fucked his shoulder once again. Trafford not an upgrade on pope who has two fucked shoulders and can’t kick a ball, doesn’t show Trafford in a good light.
-
Vast majority of big sides at home this side of Christmas, feels like we have to take full advantage of that.
-
I mean, Bowen did nearly get the assist but for a great save when he immediately came on, but did anything else literally happen after that? Can't say it was a good sub based on one single contribution. He's not a ball retention player, so outside that, he was a passenger for rest of the game.
-
See Olise is in the France provisional Olympic Squad. May have an impact on his future being decided one way or another early on in summer.
-
Bit of a meh game, job done though whilst being unspectacular. Only can take game by game, but would hope overall performance is better come QFs when we face a good side. Would’ve liked to seen Gordon for Foden for final 20. Game just felt suited to him, and could’ve been the environment to show everyone what he’s capable of outside of us Newcastle fans. Bit shit that Bowen was preferred, who’s average for what he brings IMO. Understand Saka wasn’t fully fit, but move Foden there and Gordon LW. My only bias opinion from last night.

Could see him going to PSG. Shame, would like to see him in prem.

Like those BBC clips there with Walker, TAA would be smashing those crosses in. He won’t be in those positions to do that in CM. Should just play him RB.
