There’s still a big gulf. Ipswich getting like near 30k fans each week is a big difference to Wrexham, and despite their spending so far, to then do Bournemouth levels of spending from like 2010s is again another big leap for their Hollywood owners. They’ll tighten up the spending next season if they go up, because they will be realising how much it costs (and it’s throwing money away) to chase the dreamland. Probably fancy them to cash out most of their shares too. Having the prem money and 25k+ fans most weeks is a big difference maker in championship. Even sides like PNE who have been steady enough in Championship are slowly being edged out of the league because of the financial gulf.
