People was bigging up the depth on Sunday There’s plenty of options. Could easily have been Tonali, Miley, Ramsey: Barnes, Wolte, Elanga all start.

Also Barnes at RW over Elanga is just so damning. He’s literally third choice right now for RW Horrendous use of £55m so far.

I do buy the more time he can have working with players they improve, instead of training being 'rest, recover, tactical work, match, rest, recover' and so on. But that's individuals getting better, not the collective team play which is a persisting issue away from home that's now moving into dropping points to sides that will finish season bottom 6 (West Ham / Leeds), unlike last season where it was a clean sweep of those sides.

Surely the training ground stuff was dispelled last season? When it seemed the more time we had between games, the worse some of our performances were, especially when we faced a side that had less time between games. Don’t think training ground time mitigates rolling out the same midfield three you’ve had together for ages, away to a crap side, have majority of possession and same inefficiencies displayed.

They’re so going to draw or win this after those misses.
