  1. We’re going to toss this away. So sloppy with the ball again. Need Spurs to chuck us a goal again.
  2. Look at that defence Fucking kill this off.
  3. Good last 15, but we’ve not fully punished them. The real top sides, like we’ve seen with Liverpool have 4+ thanks to that defending.
  4. We’ve clearly gone “it’s a debut keeper, loft it in and get in around him”. Hasn’t worked, and players are dumb to stick to it. Use imagination and mix it up, not wait till HT for Tindall / Howe to say change it.
  5. Why can’t we just cross a good corner. All lofty shit.
  6. We’re not getting through this game without conceding again so need to score 3.
  7. This is a case of make it to HT level at worse and regroup.
  8. So much space in this game, just got to get better at our decision making. Like then, Isak playing a dumb ball to Murphy when Gordon was open.
  9. Scared about Botman return and needing to do a few recovery runs against genuine pace. Says a lot about Kelly that Botman is starting. Please, another fast start like against Man Utd. Get ahead and let the fans turn on Spurs.
  10. That’s the joy of modern day fees for players who are young, HG and showing potential. Why we should be signing more of them, and we sort of have been for a couple but can see us targeting them more for our development squad. Because often, even if you spent £3m on one, you likely make the money back on loan fees and a small sale at end at worse case.
  11. They’ve got such a makeshift team, I’m scared it’s not going to help us as we won’t know much about them.
  12. Signed two seasons ago for £600k. Big profits once again.
  13. So the £20m keeper can't be trusted at all, and we'll pass up on money for a back up GK and lose him for £0? If we do that, we deserve to be fucked over by PSR again.
  14. There’s still a big gulf. Ipswich getting like near 30k fans each week is a big difference to Wrexham, and despite their spending so far, to then do Bournemouth levels of spending from like 2010s is again another big leap for their Hollywood owners. They’ll tighten up the spending next season if they go up, because they will be realising how much it costs (and it’s throwing money away) to chase the dreamland. Probably fancy them to cash out most of their shares too. Having the prem money and 25k+ fans most weeks is a big difference maker in championship. Even sides like PNE who have been steady enough in Championship are slowly being edged out of the league because of the financial gulf.

    Harvey Barnes

Barnes won’t be moving this January, but I don’t think we’ll be putting up a hard battle to keep him if a club offers £35m in summer. Willock / Longstaff will be ahead of him for planned sales, but all depends on who makes the offer first.
  16. They’ve got Bailey, Rodgers, Buendia, Philogene already for wide areas. Only because Emery has gone cold on three of them he wants someone new. It’s proper short term thinking. Only in summer Matseen and Barkley were lauded as astute business, and both of those aren’t favoured by Emery either. Only positive of the signing is they’ll get most of fee back.
