Find that BS. They’ve got so many players LW already, with equally average output.

7 year deal. Oh West Ham, never change
-
So were Man Utd with Ashworth, and that moved quick when we blinked. Think if club wants rid, and there’s someone genuinely interested, a deal will be made. Not like the value is going to be there next summer.
-
I’m sure we could compete if we wanted him. Weirdly have decided against it.
-
Can't ask for an easier first game of season IMO. Newly promoted side, one that takes silly risks and plays open, with the lack of quality to match. One we should be rampant from word go. 4-0
-
Another Ashworth masterclass incoming.
-
That's where my team is atm. £1m spare, which is for Tonali / Longstaff transfer in future along with some flexibility to change a defender. Money tied up in the elites.
-
Other thing with Madueke, he's a signing that wouldn't mean we can't ever sign a RW again. Bit like Gordon, potential there, and if next summer we can be opportunistic and bring in someone who's capable of playing RW/ST, it can push Madueke on. Sign a real big name RW for big wages, it limits that option next summer.

Think Chelsea willingness to do a deal for 2025 books will be the key. Giving they've already offloaded some this summer and are desperate for Gallagher to go, they would likely take £35m with £5m add on's with a loan and obligation to buy (like top 13 finish) so they have at least one sale guaranteed on their 2025 books. Would also give us flexibility to still sign someone at an opportunistic chance all way up to end of this window too.

Cunts are leaving it in their email in box till 4:59pm then respond.

Deal agreed today, then later this evening, Orny tweeting deal agreed for Almiron to go and club in talks with X club for X player
-
Pessimist in me feels if we don’t hear a deal agreed today, that’s that, we’ll be moving on elsewhere. Especially if Palace are open to selling Anderson to Fulham for £30m+. That would then be DCL / Olise / Guehi / Trafford where we’ve made bids and not been successful
-
That was an unfortunate run of games, where the team in general were poor. Brighton were a very good free flowing team (probably the one side across whole season in all comps that truly battered us from word go), Man City we done our annoying inferior approach and Liverpool was all us till defence shat out and game changed. Not like Brentford was some amazing performance. That was a proper poor game where the nerves were clear to see and a fortunate pen got us the win.
-
I think he’ll hit the ground running. Guy been on some immense training schedule fitness wise for past 12 months, and will come back roaring. Just I question him being brought into the side because I’m convinced I see Howe dropping Longstaff straight away.
-
Squad has improved by the younger players being a year older and more mature, players fit, and Kelly in. But still it feels it lacks a top player or two, that give the squad that real quick and belief. One thing thinking we can get into top 6, and another thinking we have a genuine chance of top 4. The purple signings do that for me.
-
Madueke and Gordon know each other well too from U21 success. Still would love MGW too, but that seems fanciful unless there was many outings, most notably a wild bid for Willock for example.
-
Whilst it didn’t, it still needs increased output. Gordon / Isak have to hit 30+ prem goals, with Barnes / Wilson around 15 goals at a minimum to balance it out again. A RW that can contribute closer to 10 takes the pressure of elsewhere when opposition will be more wise to trying to shut down the other men.

Schar injured and we’re pissing about with this transfer. Just get it done. Should’ve been done already and rolled out for 30 mins this weekend. Would even say we should sign Chalobah. Got 3 CBs, one is aging and now got an injury, other is aging and probably get injured, 3rd is a regular injury.
-
Pope: Tino, Schar, Burn, Hall: Longstaff, Bruno, Joe: Gordon, Isak, Murphy That the team for me opening game. Bit sad looking the team with no new guys, but should be enough to comfortably win, and if it’s not, going to be a bit of a reality check this season.

They’re burning towards the end though. Once gateway is closed, they won’t get chance to play increase value and losing Bath will see quality drop too.

One thing I don’t want, is turning into Man City. Possession, motionless, robotic winning machine.
-
Man City look so average. First XI is world class, scrape below that and its average as.

Casemiro being in good shape?

This sarcasm?
