I'd like to see Palace actually invest and have a go at 7th spot next season. West Ham have finished top 6 like 3 times of late. Leicester twice. There's absolutely no excuse to be happy finishing on 45 points every season whilst also going out in the first round of the cups. If you are stable in the league - at least go all out for a trophy!
-
We need to invest in a couple of referees for next season. Felt like they were desperate for the Septic Six to be in the Top 6 at times this year.
-
8 points off 4th and 6 off 5th, in all honesty if we'd had Pope and Joelinton there for some of those games, and some rotation options off the bench in Willock/Barnes/Wilson for a handful of the games we chucked away I think we could've been at least 5th. Statistically the 4th best team in the league this year although I'd give Villa credit as they've been worthy.

£100m clause between May and June, and it has to be for this financial calendar year. Not sure if the payment can be split down for release clauses, but if not this pretty much rules out Chelsea, PSG, Madrid, Arsenal & Man Utd It looks very much like only City, Liverpool & Bayern could afford him (and be a realistic option) I don't see Barca having the financial capability at the moment in all honesty. He ain't going anywhere, but if he does it would be City.

It still would have meant Thursday nights at a random european club or nothing, only real difference is the quality of teams especially when the CL clubs drop in. I'm quite happy for us to play ECL and blood Miley, Anderson, Murphy etc. a bit more whilst it's also a much more winnable trophy than EL.

It would be typical Newcastle if Man Utd now went and won the FA cup. With that said they're so terrible Man City must beat them. Surely? We were the far better team than them last year as well yet they've got this annoying habit of pulling a rabbit out of the hat against teams lower than them in the table. Their results against anyone even remotely half decent this season are shocking, including the Galatasaray's and Bournemouth's.

Think it was the Bournemouth game where Christie made 7 fouls without being booked, and at least 3 of them were yellow card worthy. I'm all for not booking someone the minute they do a foul but after 3 cynical trips the yellow needs to come out. Krafth got booked when there was no way he could've got out of the way of Wissa - always find them ones silly. Like what's he supposed to do?

Wasn't the best game but we also played some lovely stuff at times. Joelinton loves missing absolute sitters mind. -
We're knee slide FC.

Looks like he's on the sesh at someone's back yard and Castles in the Sky just came on the bluetooth speaker

Kind of wanted Arsenal to win for a bit of variety. But it was amusing their meltdown after the decision (given by the officials!) in the game we won where they had 1 shot at goal the whole game.

Fantastic performances of late. England need a left back coming through! -
Ashley's first couple of years: Given, Duff, Carr - Ireland Emre - Turkey Solano - Peru Dyer, Owen - England (+ Milner, Parker, Smith, Taylor, Butt etc. who were in and around or later played) Martins, Babayaro - Nigeria N'Zogbia - France U21 Onyewu - USA Pattison - South Africa Moore, Viduka - Oz Faye, Beye - Senegal Rozenhal - Czech Geremi - Cameroon We were truly international then.

Good to see Pope back in but I think his ship may have sailed for the Euros. Southgate seems to prefer Johnstone as Pickford back-up. -
I write a post you don't like and therefore I'm the wind up merchant. Get a fucking grip.
-
Shut the fuck up man.
-
I don't like the signing whatsoever. He's Paul Dummett MKII.
-
Stats show otherwise considerably. He would also be a centre back playing left back like Burn, except without the height, and with similar pace.
-
Bundesliga has a full schedule - Hoffenheim/Bayern or Frankfurt/Leipzig probably the pick. Hearts/Rangers / Celtic/St Mirren if you're into that Torino/Milan, Braga/Porto, Bolton/Oxford play-off on later Full schedule of PL womens too
-
He'd want wages of 200k a week minimum and he's 29 and plays left centre mid, where we already have 74857679 midfielders.
-
I posted on it a couple pages back but Kelly is poor and extremely injury prone. Stats show a low level player. Targett is far better. Ramsdale would be good 2nd keeper but only if it was £15m or less spent which is very unlikely - other priorities.
-
He has developed you know. He's arguably been the best player in the championship, not just a scorer but a brilliant creator these days. He'd be 3rd choice striker and rotation for the wings/attacking midfield as well as being club homegrown for europe without paying much.
-
Would take Armstrong on a loan w/ option for like £12m if Southampton don't come up. Can provide cover for striker and right wing. Sorts us out for the homegrown rule - get Fraser Forster in as second choice for around a million and we're laughing. Then we can sell Longstaff and release Dummett without any qualms.

The term 'no brainer' regarding signings etc. Just that term in general really
