Well all of these players improve us (including Madueke) but by varying amounts. Right now I'd accept any
-
Neto is an awesome player but there's doubts over his injury record. Mbuemo is decent but would cost £10-15m more than Madueke. Raphina was my dream signing but its never going to happen.
-
Yes. He's getting one apparently...
-
Fair. Who would you go for realistically that would come? Neto, Gonzalez?
-
Weird how we all see the same differently. I do see Madueke as an Eddie player and one that will flourish under his coaching. Only 22 as well so loads of development time. I think he'd be a great signing for us and him and Gordon running at defences as we transition would be terrifying for opposition defences.

8 goals in 34 appearances last season. Considered by their fans to be one of the reasons their form improved in 2nd half of last season. I would say he's easily worth £40m in todays inflated valuations
-
Totally agree. Reading the Chelsea forum they reckon he looks lost under Maresca's tactics so that might encourage them even more to move him on. You can imagine he's a player that will look immense under Eddie.

In other news, Russia might show aggression to the Ukraine whilst there are unconfirmed reports that unrest could remain in Israel. According to sources.

I love the 3rd kit. Might be in the minority but this years home kits not for me, the white "patch" on the back is too jarring to the front (which is decent). I'll get the 3rd instead of the home and hope the back is improved next season. It might have been better in black in hindsight. We look like leeds from the back.

Lots of sounds coming from Chelsea they want £40m for Madueke... they're looking to sell and Eddie likes him. Can see this one happening
-
Chelsea sign Chiesa and sell Madueke to us?? I like Chiesa but he's a big risk given his form last season was average.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

Damn its like listening to a mate bitch about how much he wants his ex back and you just want to slap him and say "move on mate". Gotta just let this one go... -
Bloody love Tripps. I was at the Villa game where he scored the freekick and we won 1-0. His presence and leadership that day was top class. The first signing of the new ownership and symbolises the ambition of the club. He instantly raised levels in the team.
-
Not for me now. He's done nothing to warrant any interest plus he seems like a scumbag.
-
I think a lot are underestimating Madueke and chasing a "big" name like Neto. Eddie knows what will work.
-
Think Madueke is a really good player. Stood out for Chelsea in their run in last season. Similar output to Olise too
-
I agree its frustrating. But we could have made 2/3 new signings by the time we play Saints. Lets reserve judgement until then.
-
Footy Insidee do get a few right. They're middle of the road for me in terms of reliability. Not Ornstein, but not Indy Kaila either.
-
Just wait until the window ends. I'll bet money we've got a new RCB & RW by then. It's been a slow market for most clubs, not just us (who've undergone a big leadership change). We'll be fine lads, just sit tight.
-
In Eddie we trust. If he's seen something in Thiaw he thinks fits his system, he's got my support.
-
He's off to Juventus unfortunately.
-
He's first choice RW for Brazil. Its the going rate sadly and he'd expect to be on par with our best paid players given his profile. He'd be my first RW choice albeit I dont know what budget we're playing with.
-
I dont disagree but he's said he wants that job one day. It's just a question of timing.
