  4. That Tonda Eckart interview 😳. You can almost smell the pistol being aimed at him from behind the camera as he reads his 'confession'. All this "commonplace in Germany" pish. You're in England ya fud, different rules you absolute genital wart.
  5. PIF seem to help every club but us with this kind of financially astute career assassination.
  6. Didn't I read that Hall signed a new 6 year deal a couple of weeks ago with quotes about how happy he was to commit his future to Newcastle? Oops 😬 that was Lewis Hall, my bad. Doh doh doh, Miley I meant.
  7. Definitely not a 70 million player at this point. 35 at most but that's paying for potential. If the cartel clubs really are interested then we should steer clear as his fee definitely goes way beyond what we should pay. The cartel can afford to splurge 60 million on potential, we can't. Too risky.

I love the guy too but Bobby Robson got me attached to the team. Good luck King Kev 🤴
  9. Wish I took that advice, then I wouldn't be paralysed and in a wheelchair due to falling off and breaking my back.
  10. Can I now safely say that he's a beak faced, cry baby, mercenary that I wont miss one iota without fear of chagrin?

It doesn't matter what division a goalkeeper plays in to assess him as no matter what league you play in you're guaranteed to have shots of all type firing at you and corners to deal with. The only thing you can't assess is how they would deal with higher league/bigger club pressure.

    Pretty Pretty Pretty good.
  13. It's a good point about waiting until after the World Cup. He could have a great World Cup and add 20-30 million to his fee,but he could also have an awful tournament or get injured. Probably too high of a risk v reward factor to wait until after the WC. Let's hope he has a stinky summer. Saying that, I hope every English player has a stinker.
  14. Brilliant in the Champions league but meh in the EPL. Take the money and run.

I hope he stays. He's a capable player with 2 or 3 top level seasons left. We can't be selling both him and Gordon in the same window. I think Gordon wants to leave so let him go as he'd go into an Israt style sulk. I wonder if he regrets the Scotland offer? He could have very well missed out on his last chance at playing in a World Cup.
  16. I've just turned on the German Cup final as I got my start time wrong. It's like watching the TV in Bob Marley's living room. Premier Sports 1 btw.
  17. I'm not to depressed after the Celtic win as I never expected us to win, I was actually expecting an embarrassing 4 or 5 nil. At least we scored a goal. Still a great achievement to reach the final as a Championship team. I'm optimistic we'll be closer to winning the league next season as the league will be much weaker. St Johnstone and Ross County were clear favourites to win the league but one of them was relegated even though they have a sugar daddy to make up for their tiny support base. St Mirren if they come down are nowhere near as strong as St Johnstone and Partick are a decent side that will usually be in the mix. Dunfermline will add quality over the summer. We've struggled without a competent keeper all season, if we can sign a quality number 1 and a half decent striker we should be one of the favourites. Well done to Hull, terrible game but the right result after all the shenanigans of the past week. They'll be coming straight back down though.
  18. Does anybody understand how the Serie B relegation play out works? Both games finished 0-0 but Bari won the tie, how the hell does that work? Edit: I think Flashscore got it wrong. I think Suditrol won the tie because they finished the league 1 point above Bari, so if the play out is a tie the higher placed league team automatically avoids relegation.
  19. Not so fun fact. Up until about 6 years ago my Scottish team Dunfermline were fan owned after administration hit us hard (around the same time as The Rangers). One of the top dogs was my ex wife's uncle, Bob Garmory. The club's sponsor at the time was Purvis, the owner of which was friends with her uncle and as a wedding present they built a wall, stairs, and provided grass for our new build house at the time. How times have changed as I sit alone in my manky council house. On the plus side I still have 2 fully signed football shirts from that era though. One of which is from the season we were last in a Scottish Cup Final.
  20. Saint Maxi is on the box. Cool. I'm watching on Fox soccer plus if anyone is struggling to find it.
  21. You've got to feel sorry for the Southampton players and fans. How much risk reward is there from spying? Not a lot I'd guess, a couple of set piece routines at the most. Spy "I can report that the players were running about and practicing football". Well worth a potential 200 million quid and a 4 point deduction next season. All because of a guy behind a tree with his phone's camera. They've got a hard neck appealing considering they have admitted to spying on other teams throughout the season. They could have used a drone or remote controlled helicopter so they'd at least have deniability, or send someone who isn't involved with the club so can't be linked back to them. Whoever gave the spy the go ahead could very well be lynched or whacked by a psychopathic fan. Absolute madness.
  22. That was a red card in the 1980's, never mind in this era. He could have easily broke a leg.

8 goals with zero Premier league experience, a team around him playing well below their best, limited game time and being shuffled into strange positions isn't too bad imo. Let's see how he does next season after the summer player shuffle.
