Going by this season alone,he's not Champions League quality. The potential is there though. Maybe the Champions league will bring out the best of him. Maybe not.

If I was Eddie, I'd be sitting down with him to ask if he really wants to be here. If his heart isn't in it then make him available for transfer. We'll get good money for him,or he'll buck up his ideas next season.

I just hope we have a scouting team that have shown Eddie some out of the box thinking. Taking a chance by looking at players from the less popular leagues (and lower teams in the top leagues) that can be brought in for a lower fee with the view to turning them into excellent EPL players. It's risky but could be very rewarding. There isn't much value shopping in the EPL. Maybe sign one or two from our own league, but have a look about Europe to see who's out there. I think 'another round of talks' just means talks with another club. I don't think we've spoken to him yet. That's how I interpret it anyway.

I've no problem with spelling mistakes and I'm not a grammar nazi but posts like that with words out of order,making you have to think about what they actually mean to say really makes my bananas go too black to enjoy.

I feel a bit bad about some of my comments during the game now. You can get caught up in emotions and anxiety, while forgetting how small the player pool is. Great achievement from the players and manager finishing 5th, and I definitely think Eddie deserves to named Manager of the year. He won't win it though, Slot is nailed on for it even though he's inherited a superb team full of depth.

I think Wilson deserved the last few minutes with it being his last game but bringing him on at the 70 minute mark makes me wonder what goes through Howe's head at times.
