  1. That's young Andrew Tod. He's got dodgy eyes (long sighted I think) and obviously wearing real glass glasses is too dangerous on a football field. His brother also plays for us,they are both great young lads and their dad was also a Dunfermline legend. So currently, we have 2 Tods (John and Andrew) and Matty Todd (who scored the first goal yesterday, a cracking half volley). Good times up here, the place is buzzing. A really young team (with at least 4 actual supporters of the club) that I'm proud as punch to call my own.
  2. Come on yee Paaaaarrrrrs. Dunfermline into the Scottish Cup semi final after beating 2 SPL teams (including the cup holders) in a row. First time at Hampden in a long long time. Absolutely pumped Aberdeen, the sheep shagging gits. Guaranteed we draw one of Rangers/Celtic. I'd fancy us doing them both in.

He's no Olly Thomas, that's for sure.
  4. Sorry guys but Dunfermline are pumping Aberdeen 3 nil in the Scottish Cup, no way do both my teams win. Sorry again.
  5. I'm hoping that big willy wondergoal has transformed him into the world's best striker and he continues with a matchball winning performance this evening. Maybe not though.
  6. I've just discovered that I have a viewing dilemma. The 2 teams that make up my moniker are bth playing important cup games at roughly the same time (Dunfermline kick off against Aberdeen half an hour earlier than Newcastle). So I guess I'll be channel hopping for the first hour, then I'll turn over to golf or tennis when both my teams are inevitably 3 nil down by half time*. *Please bare in mind that I'm a pessimist.
  7. He would never have scored that goal for us as he never would have received the pass. Gordon, Barnes or Elanga would have hit a shot instead.

What a surprise, people picking on Nick again when the rest of the team were shite.
  9. Our very own FBI Profiler everybody.
  10. No he didn't. If he had then Trafford would be in goals and Etikite or Delapp would be playing up front. He got his man in Elanga though, Forest must be laughing their heads off. Both Ramseys are underwhelming too. Big Nick was about 5th choice but I do have faith in him, if only we knew where to play him.
  11. So? He's not wrong.
  12. The powers that be will definitely be having conversations about his future behind closed doors. I can see him being replaced in the summer if we dont go on an almighty charge up the league or win a cup. I think his time is close to the end. Nobody can say it's just the occasional game, we've looked horrendous for most of the season. Beating Man City doesn't make up for losing at home to shite like Everton. I've been a staunch Howe supporter but I'm starting to change my mind now. We just look clueless going forward and the defensive errors are just ridiculous.

Many a penny will need to be spent in the summer to replace him. I thought he had another season in him before the season started but I was waaaaaayyyyyy wrong. That was an unforgivable error.
  14. Eddie looks like an extra from Mobland there. Glad it's Barcelona and not Chelsea as Chelsea have as sussed. Hope we can take a narrow lead into the second leg, they'll have to go for it which will leave loads of space for the counter attack. We have a chance but I wont put any money on it. Great chance to reach the semis at least if we can scrape through. Having this tie to look forward to should be motivation enough for Wissa to start showing up.

You cant blame Wolf for his price. We'd just sold the rat so any player we bought had the 'Isak tax' added on to their actual price. Wissa also cost about a third more than his actual worth.

You'd think by the comments of some on here that wolf is the ONLY PLAYER struggling at times. He's not, loads of players have let us down this season. He's a big talented lad that has done better than I expected considering his age, his first season in England and the pressure of having that transfer fee attached to him. Never mind the fact that he was thrown in straight away (having not trained with us) instead of being eased in while EPL proven Wissa 'banged the goals in'. Give him a semi full pre-season (it'll be shorter due to WC, get him bulked up a bit and then we can see what he does next season. The own goal winner against our most hated rivals clearly knocked his confidence, but let's not forget his early season goals that won us games and some of his class finishes, even his league penalty blew us away. He also needs our other forwards and attacking midfielders to get on his wavelength, then they'll benefit from his sublime touches and lay offs. He's a completely different player than the rat and I certainly haven't given up on him. If he can perform well in the WC then that will thoroughly boost his confidence. Have a little faith in the young man.
  17. Good day for Hearts thus far. Conference league although not glamorous would bring a realistic chance of a European trophy. It's going to take an incredible run to reach the CL and this season's campaign will have us playing a very difficult team in the next round. Europa is the best we can hope for I reckon.
  18. They can justify it by accepting that Elanga has been a dudd, Wissa hasn't been the player he was at Brentford (but still could be with a full pre-season) and Wolf isn't an actual number 9. I'd still keep wolf though as he's clearly skillful, we just need to find the right position for him. The only thing I don't like about wolf is his lack of pace (and he's a bit lightweight which can be worked on). If he's helping defend a corner he's too slow to help on the break and when playing as a 9 he has to drop deep to get the ball and then cant get into the box quick enough. Fleecing the scousers (or City) for another hundred million for Gordon would help us out enormously. He's been great in the CL but inconsistent in the league.
  19. A certain keeper is apparently wanting to engineer a move away from Man City in the summer. Maybe you shouldn't have signed there in the first place knowing you'd be nowhere near first choice ya feckin gimp.
  20. The only time I've been happy with the title winners was when Leicester won. Other than that I couldn't care one curly hair about who wins. The usual suspects are all horrid with Liverpool being the worst. Slot got lucky with a ready made title winning team ready to go in his first season. He's now made them worse, which is nice.
  21. There isn't one Arsenal player capable of giving deep throat.
  22. In all fairness, the guy that said it before you was also beaten to it about an hour ago by another forumite.
  23. It clearly took a slight deflection to put him off. Great result, rest some players next week and play Ruddy in goals.
