This is the kind of game I've been talking about regarding hunger. We're clearly the better team and should win comfortably, but will we? This is the easiest game on paper we have left. If we don't take all 3 points then it's going to be really difficult to finish in the top 5.

Ok, maybe not weeks ago, but with no European football to deal with we should be closer to 2nd than still being in the squeaky bum territory that we are. That's maybe a testimony to the quality of the rest of the league (with some teams being a bit cheeky with the psr rules) and the size of our squad. Let's be honest though, we've looked horrendous in some games that we should've won easily. Fulham for example, we're miles better than them but still lost. There have been a fair amount of games that we haven't looked hungry enough. Also, it's just an opinion, and as long as we qualify that's all that counts.

Nobody to blame but ourselves if we don't get CL football. We should already have qualified weeks ago.
-
If arsenal win the cl does that mean that 6th place gets cl football?

Looks hee haw like him.

There are so many 'big clubs' in the EPL now, they'll be pushing for a new format to get more English teams in European competitions
-
Betis will pump Chelsea if they get passed Fiorentina.

Tremendous result in Nottingham. Great night for all the English clubs in Europe. All English Europa Cup Final by the looks of it. I'd want Spurs to win that. A difficult final for Chelsea though, which I hope they lose.

The team directly below his (Kofane) club in the league (Cordoba) features one of Zinedine Zidane's sons in midfield. His other kid is a goalkeeper in the same league (Granada). That is all.

Hope you've cheered up a bit now mate. I can't remember the last time I felt 'up' and it really pissing me off.

All these ifs and buts

That's my line*. I think you're referencing Djinn Darin?

The Saudi league will go the same way as the Chinese league at some point.

I don't get off on being pessimistic, it's just the way that life has conditioned me. I hope in the next life that I'm an eternal optimist.

Sorry bud but I was born pessimistic. Expecting the worst makes it harder to feel let down 😕 .

We have a very difficult final 4 games. Gonna have to pull out some fantastic performances. Man City have a much easier run in. Chelsea have a fairly difficult run in too. Forest have a favourable run in. Villa have an equally favourable run in. Chelsea and ourselves have far and away the hardest run ins. I'm a pessimist by nature (I've had an awful life) so I fancy Europa League at best. Which I'd be happy with. I'd be fine with Conference League football too as that could be a great chance at winning a European trophy, just look at the teams Chelsea have had to contend with. Champions League is too soon considering how thin our squad is. We can save that for next season or the one after.
-
I think a Europa league finish would be better for us as we'd have more chance of a decent run than the Champions league. Even finishing in a Champions league spot, we can't afford the quality of players capable to bolster our squad. Villa have be a rare anomaly. F*ck psr and all that shit.
-
If Man City or Forest win the FA Cup and qualify for the champions league, does that open up a further Europa league place for 7th place or does the place go to the runners up?
-
I hope we're doing something about that to raise our exposure and have more money available to spend. Saying that, what can we do? A higher profile shirt sponsor? Making the stadium bigger. A Wrexham style documentary. I have no clue.
-
Any idea on how much we'll have to spend? How come Chelsea, Man Utd etc can just spend at will but even though we're one of the richest clubs in the world, we can hardly spend anything?
-
Does anybody have a real idea of how much money (if any) we can spend in the summer without selling a superstar? We're bloody minted and can't spend shit. I hate PSR.
-
It would certainly be a cheap conetract. Ba doom tish.
-
I've only got Fifa 16,imagine the team on that. Eesh.

It's so hard to predict who will end up in the CL places. No game is a guaranteed win for any team, even a terrible Southampton team could pull out a wonder win out of nowhere, that's the beauty of football. I've studied all the teams involved and there is room for all teams to trip up. With no European football we really should have cemented our place by now,but that's not the Newcastle way. It'll probably go down to the last day of the season with 3/4 teams chasing 2/3 places. Stressful.
