  1. Rangers might be a shout for him with their takeover.
  2. Hate how the "big 6" can have a shite season then just forget it's happened, these and Man Utd can just buy their way back to the top 7. Leicester did it and it's ruined them as a PL club.
  3. Odds on at least one of them being at Olympiakos on loan next season?
  4. Keep seeing penalties mentioned thinking he'd scored 10 or something. Only 5. That still means he scored 15 in open play. Get him signed, man.
  5. I played him at tennis, he's rubbish.
  6. The players a level above Guehi & Mbuemo go to Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal for £80m each and/or £250k a week wages. The £20-35m bracket are the ones that are likely mid-table players who may in 2-3 years become £60-80m, but don't really help us where we are now as a club whose next stage is to break the top 3 and show to Isak, Tonali, etc that they don't have to go to Real Madrid, Arsenal, etc to challenge for titles. That's why these go to the likes of Brighton and Bournemouth. The Guehis and Mbuemos are pretty much bang in that sweet spot of improving our team, being affordable and helping us into the top 3.
  7. You play Murphy when Mbuemo needs a break?
  8. Would have taken Onana if we didn't need an RW, CB & GK first. Think he'd genuinely push Joelinton for his place.
  9. Depends on where you are but where I was, November to March was bleak. Probably not much different just the warmer weather was warmer. The colder weather was much colder though.
  10. I spent 5 months in St-Etienne, 3 months of it was almost non-stop snow. They'd be fine over here.
  11. I know you can get random massacres like tonight anytime, but we can't be surprised that PSG who've beaten the best two teams in England would destroy a team who've just lost a title to a team whose midfield has had ex-Man Utd, Fulham, Bournemouth & Brighton midfielders. Pretty damning for where Serie A is now.
  12. 97 aye. Think they had England away to Poland, that game and the MLS.
  13. We're three first-team signings away from a top 3 challenging first XI for me, RW, CB & GK. Strike while we're in a good position, whether it's Garcia or Trafford. Trafford probably isn't that level yet but I don't think the drop off to Pope is significant enough that you wouldn't go with Trafford so he can push to that top level. Pope won't get there.
  14. Christ, they were showing England World Cup & Champions League qualifiers when it first started broadcasting. Scraping the barrel now.
  15. I just hope they try to make it a contest rather than just trying to stop PSG from playing.
  16. If I can distance myself from the Saudi element of the ownership I can see past this. I like their team and manager.
  17. I want PSG to win it. I like this non-Galactico era.
  18. As long as we pray we don't have to actually play him, he was woeful last season.
  19. Probably not. Makes me laugh though when the PL try to determine what a fair deal is. For all we know, PL & CL exposure could be worth unknown amounts for them if they wanted to grow worldwide for example. Who are the PL to say it's only worth X amount?
  20. Eddie Howe, went to France....
  21. Trying to think of our equivalent and not as impressive. Probably going to be... Steven Taylor : 2004/16 Lascelles : 2015/present With Pardew/McClaren/Benitez being the link
  22. There was a mini-meltdown when it happened last season and that was when we were next to each other in the league.
  23. The Pope to Dubravka drop off was a lot smaller this season compared to last, so I think that's a sign that a new keeper is a top priority.
  24. Must have been played for then.
