Guehi would have been worth every penny of that £65m.

Aye. What kept them going so well was their style of play was unique for that level. After Williamson they had Elliot who carried it on. They hoped Magnay could keep it going but results started to drop off. The moment they appointed externally and lost that edge, they were always going to drop massively. Shame.

Never seen or heard of Keratsas, but if he doesn't end up at Brighton next summer for £19m plus future sell-on clauses, I'll be stunned.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

It's only a few seasons ago he was an ever-present while Arsenal finished 2nd, getting in the Team of the Season (ahead of Pope during his first season here ironically). -

Because I've seen the manner of the goals he conceded against Celtic & Marseille, the goal v Arsenal, the goal v West Ham, the goal v Brentford. -

Given's shot-stopping was genuinely world class. He made saves in games like the Pope one v Wolves on a weekly basis. -
I think over the next 20 games we'll eventually overtake the likes of Sunderland, Brighton & Palace. Liverpool will eventually pull away. Man Utd & Spurs could go either way (like us).

Sorry if this has been asked, if Villa finish top 5 (assuming England is one of the top 2 again in the co-efficient standings) and also win the Europa League, does a CL spot drop to 6th?

3-1. Was fun while it lasted.

Celtic 1-1 home to 10-man Aberdeen.

7 out of 7 defeats for Gateshead. Heading back to the National North.

Late goal for Rangers but too late.

There's been one 1-0 victory all season. -
Should be 3.

Rangers were slowly creeping into the title race so this is a big win if they hold out. 4 wins out of 4 against the Old Firm so far if they see it out.

Geet in Kris Findlay.

If we're talking the Pope before this season, he'd start over Ramsdale. This season's Pope however, I think it's 6 and two 3s, so would stick with Ramsdale until the summer where we look for an upgrade. Putting Pope back in, its back to square one for the way we try to build out from the back. At least with Ramsdale we can get used to playing out that way, and carry it on next season with the upgrade, rather than starting from scratch. -
I still think Foden has to rush his shot though, because he sees Schar already diving in. So if he doesn't shoot and takes the clattering it's a foul, he tries to take on the shot despite the tackle incoming, therefore not a foul? Penalty for me.

Growing in to the team.

That's a shame!

Both stonewall to me.

Don't think he did anything wrong today. Approached it correctly, they were always going to have moments in the game with the quality they have. I think if we played last Sunday & today the exact same way 10 times, we come away with 4 rather than just 1 point 8 or 9 of those occasions.

9 out of 9 for Hebburn.

Against a side from Guadeloupe in the French Cup. Lovely away trip for him that.
