  1. Has a substitute ever been replaced by a substitute who himself has been substituted in the same game?
  2. Superb game, very good performance, turned on a wank refereeing decision and decided by a slip.
  3. Thought I'd have a look at HT to see their reaction, absolutely no awareness. Set up like we did last week v Chelsea, they steamroller us and batter us. Set up like we did last week v Sunderland, 9 times out of 10 we're coming away with an uninspiring 0-0 at worst. Can't play this way 3 times in 7 days the thick cunts.
  4. Said it before, will say it again. The offside law in this incarnation is absolutely wank.
  5. Might be wrong but in my head we do well in the 12.30 slot at home. Seems like we win often then anyway.
  6. Always rated him and he'd have been a better option there than Burn at left-back this season. If we don't want to buy a Lb until the summer then I've no issues having him in the team or bench for a few months.
  7. Was that miss at Villa his Tomasson v Sheff Wed?
  8. They seem a bit gutted that we didn't stop the dressing room photo after Sunday. Kills them that they're not our everything and we're cracking on, while we're their everything.
  9. It gets brushed off but it's valid. His whole NUFC career he's had Burn outside of him. Probably a handful of games where he & Targett/Hall have played together.
  10. Feels like we've said it a bit this season, but last night should be our"average" performance. It just unfortunately hasn't clicked past anything above that yet and certainly not away from home.
  11. Needed that. Solid 6.5 out of 10 performance. Beat Chelsea and we're back on track.
  12. Has shades of Milner. I like him but if someone fancies paying £70-80m then if sell.
  13. Would be a lot more confident of doing the same if one of the strikers was in an Isak-type run of form mind.
  14. Should Guiu not be cup-tied like? Scored for Sunderland in the cup earlier in the season?
  15. Be interesting to see if others copy our blueprint though of letting them have the ball. Obviously 3/4s of the league will hurt them more than we did but they'll not last long playing that way if the onus is on them to play football. It took 3/4s of the season last year to suss Forest out playing a similar way then they dropped off once found outm
  16. 5 goals & 9 assists followed by 6 goals & 11 assists would suggest he'd do a good job for someone, like. Someone would pay £35-40m for that output. Not suited to us one but though.
  17. To a team who sit and play on the counter, a player who can get his sort of output is easily worth £40m. Those clubs can afford that sort of fee, too.
  18. There'll be a mid-table team who see him as perfect. £35-40m or so would be a good fee to buy the Forest version of him for a team who play that way. West Ham seems perfect.
  19. Now do Rodwell, Barkley & Phillips after their big moves. Rice is pretty unique, you could tell he'd go into a top team and boss it. Not sure Anderson has that profile.
  20. Seeing the way they're talking and going on though, seems like they've learned bugger all in their time away from the Premier League. Get the feeling they'd prefer 16th and the derby win than a top 10 finish. They circled the toilet bowl 10-12 years ago for several seasons but their fans sat back and allowed it to happen. By the time they got relegated they were a zombie club and it was too late. We literally are their everything.
  21. I think a big issue with it also is that the drop off between Woltemade to a replacement in the 10 position and between Wissa and Osula is huge. You can play the likes of Ramsey as a 10 but it'd be a different way of playing again.
  22. I think tomorrow night could be the most important of his time here in terms of public opinion. If he wins and has another Cup Semi-Final to play in, we can grit our teeth through what happened on Sunday and look forward again. If we get knocked out, it could start to unravel.
  23. Ah, good on him. Got a fair bit of time for Rodgers.
