It never ceases to amaze me that the fans of a team sitting 4th in the Championship and haven't set foot in the PL since 2017 are constantly lambasting the quality of the PL and talk as if they'd comfortably finish in the top half with their current squad which is littered with 20-40million players. I must've missed the part where the last 6 promoted teams have been immediately papped back down to the Championship without so much as a whimper.

This team is evolving, the ceiling is being raised so high that it's painfully obvious when you see a player who is no longer "Newcastle quality". We're now operating at a level that's beyond Longstaff. I'll always be grateful for his efforts, especially during the dark Bruce days and all the shit he went through because of that slug.
