You’ve never booed at an opposition gk time wasting when we need a goal?
-
I’m not being discriminated here. Why did you say that? I was answering the post that suggested I was a racist.
-
…..and if I thought everyone should be treated the same and was against the idea of ‘reverse’ discrimination (which actually doesn’t exist because ‘reverse’ discrimination is just simple discrimination too).
-
I think everyone knows about the issue of racism. Any decent person is not racist and those that are, are unlikely to change. So I think taking the knee is a waste of time. So to answer your question the idea of saying ‘look at us taking the knee and remember not to be racist’ has become repetitive and possibly irritating to any reasonably intelligent person - that’s why people boo. I’d be more in favour of having ‘taking the knee’ before international games as countries outside of Europe have a far greater problem with racism than we do.
-
Yes, true. It does show a lack of patience in having the same issue rammed down our throats every time we watch a match.
-
Yeah. People’re just fed up with it. Doesn’t mean they’re racist or anything.

Teams are forced to play at altitude in Bolivia which is unfair for the away sides. In the heat it’s the same for everyone and they could choose cooler locations/times of day. The club WC was roasting and they got round that.
-
Yes - you’ve got a point and Sunlun played a low block but Chelsea’s passing was ultra negative and non progressive all game. You’d expect a hell of a lot more from a team that was playing so well at the start of the season.
-
At the risk of asking a silly question, why isn’t the AFCON played when the European and Copa America are being played?
-
A very good performance and result for them but that’s the worst performance I’ve seen from Chelsea since they started buying success. Completely toothless and without ideas in attack - still wouldn’t have scored if the game was still playing. Maresca should be concerned.

Looking back, a great game although torture at the time. Thoroughly deserved win and we battered them for most of the second half. Watching games like this and the mackems’ you can see the ware and tear on the teams playing CL against those squads that have all week to rest and prepare. I don’t expect fireworks from us until the fixture list lightens - just hope we can keep grinding out the points in the PL and go for it nearer the end of the season. A call out for Willy - won the game for us today IMO.

I wonder if Brucie had more than ‘we’ll dust waselves down…’ in his locker…?

3 Liverpool players there. Shows that they used to be able to sign players for good value and improve them.
-
What is it with Liverpool managers who start off looking like decent people then turn into w*nkers soon after? (Although Slot has done it at break neck speed). It’s only taken 4 losses and some social media heat for him to transform from individually greeting each of our players going up the steps at Wembley to this small time comment. He’s always come across as smug to me and Liverpool have played a totally shit* transfer window considering the finances/PSR available to them. One thing’s for sure, he’s rattled.

Tremendous first goal. I hope Elanga was watching - that’s what’s expected from him.
-
Ancelloti just selected him and while he didn’t pull up any trees (he’s off form just now) he still has a chance to go to the WC with Brazil. Also I’d say he’s the biggest goal threat we have in midfield so he brings more than just physicality to our team. I used to enjoy watching him play at LW but EH clearly doesn’t anymore! Anyway, I disagree and think he’ll get back to form and contribute a lot again. Time will tell.
-
There’s going to be a few people eating humble pie before this season is finished.
-
He’s off form. It happens.
-
Fair enough. Eddie said in his post match interview that Elanga will become an important player for us. So, you’re up against EH on this one.
-
Shocking that, like.
