I think our medical backroom team is much improved since then?
-
You’ve contradicted yourself by including DCL and ‘decent’ strikers in the same argument.
-
Well if rules of the game are expecting referees and VAR to judge on ‘degree’ of shirt pull then it’s not surprising.
-
If it is then the rule isn’t being applied. It’s impossible for VAR to miss a shirt pull.
-
It should be. Was it last season or the one before where Sean had his shirt pulled as he was about to shoot and it meant he couldn’t get his foot to the ball? No penalty. Rule change needed. Pushing and nudging is one thing but a shirt pull in the area should be an automatic penalty.
-
Never understood why any shirt pull in the box isn’t a penalty.
-
Fucking why??????

Is he playing?

VAR takes an unreasonable length of time to make an offside decision. Semi-automated VAR takes an unreasonable amount of time to make an offside decision. So why have semi-automated VAR? Can’t we just have a chip in the toe of every boot and a chip in the ball, giving an instant decision relayed to the on field ref’s wrist? Forget shoulders, knees, etc. (Then the lads upstairs would only need to decide on players interfering with the keeper).

I must admit, I used to think Sunlun’s support was decent but it clearly isn’t (or has worsened). After our attendances in the Chimpo and current ones, home and away, and looking at theirs, recent past and present, comparing the 2 clubs’ support isn’t even a debate any more.

The €85m (£73.5m) that Newcastle are paying for Woltemade is therefore a gamble. The owners from Saudi Arabia and the club’s management are new to the business. In a gold rush atmosphere, mistakes are made and miracles are believed in. Aye, PSR’s a right ‘gold rush’, so it is. Newcastle can spend what they want, know your place ‘Newcastle’, etc., etc. Just do some basic research before putting pen to paper.

It has but a millisecond before so unless that 30 had a sprinting start, it’s encroachment.
-
This why I have a real problem with VAR.

Of course there’s no link between wishing injury and opposition players but you open yourself up to be laughed at if you do. There’s also the small matter of having a good look at yourself for wishing physical harm and pain on another person.

Those wrists will be red raw.

You are awful…..but I like you.

No, we cannot. What an outrageous suggestion.
